My knees where pressed against my chest as I watched my mom break. "We found her", the cop informed us. Sebastian hugged mom tightly so she wouldn't fall down on the ground.

Finally.

It had been 2 days since the I had gotten the phone call that would destroy my life. 2 days since all my happiness vanished. 2 days since I had the last conversation with my sister. Now they had finally found her body. They wouldn't tell us the details, since it was still a new case, and they needed do investigate the body, but I knew I would finally get some closure. Not that it mattered now.

"Thank you", Sebastian mumbled as the cop left our apartment. He led my mom to the couch and they sat down next to me, with him in the middle. My mom couldn't stop crying, but I had already cried all my tears. I didn't have any tears left.

"I can't let you do this." Sebastian sounded like he was on the edge to cry, making it worse than I expected. "I have to", I sighed and sat down in our bed. "I have to do it for her. So she can find her peace." "I know how bad you want to do this, but you're still recovering Y/N", he said and squatted down in front of me as he grabbed my hand. "And that bastard doesn't deserve to see you getting hurt for something he did."

"He can't hurt me anymore", I said in a calm voice even though I wanted to yell. I just couldn't. I was to mad. "He's the reason I lost her. We lost her. And I am not going to sit back and watch knowing I could've given him more time in a rotten cell." "I know doll, but this man... He's a monster", he mumbled, eyes wet. "And it's my job to keep you safe, and I can't do that when you aren't with me."

"Sebastian he fucked Charlie!", I screamed. I felt tears running down my cheeks, a feeling I hadn't felt in days. "He fucked her, made her think she was worthless, left her alone on the street. He made her kill herself, Sebastian. And he's not even regretting it."

"I know, okay!" Now it was him who were shouting. "And that's why I can't leave your side. He made her feel like she was nothing, and I'm scared he'll do the same to you, now that he knows you're vulnerable. And I know this is the only way, but I am not ready to let you go..." His face was wet from his tears. "That bastard have already taken Charlie from us... I can't loose you too..." He got up and hugged me tightly as we cried together.

The police found videotapes of the day she... died... 3 days after they found her body in the woods. She had been out for coffee while me and Sebastian was visiting Chris, and was walking past a bar where she got lost. A man offered his help... He led her into the woods where he... and left her when he was done 2 hours later. That was when she called me.

The man had just gotten arrested, and his lawyer said he had confessed. Now the prosecutor was asking if I wanted to see the trial, maybe testify if it became necessary, so the jury would see how much damage he had done and maybe make the sentence longer. I knew I had to say yes. So did Sebastian. But he was scared. I had never seen him like this.

"Let's make sure that idiot never sees us again", he mumbled and pulled away from the hug to wipe away my tears. I smiled as I enjoyed his touch, a touch I hadn't felt in days. We hadn't been talking much, and when we finally did it was because we needed food or something. Even though we slept in the same bed, there were a big gap between us, and we didn't get any sleep. We both needed our time to think and be alone, but in this moment I knew we had made a mistake. I missed him so much. Hopefully he missed me too.

I was fixing my suit as the pale attorney informed me of how I should behave. "First off, don't lie", he started and handed me a yellow file. "Don't answer anything that makes you uncomfortable, and if someone is making you uncomfortable, just tell me or the judge. And I know you're an actress, but we only need the natural tears alright? And only get up when the judge asks you to. Now read this quickly before he comes."

He turned around on his chair and discussed something with his colleagues. I did as he told me too and read the file. Most of it was just information about how a trial worked, but since this was the last day, and I didn't have anything to do with it, I quickly skimmed trough it.

"All rise", a man said. Sebastian and I shared a quick glance before we stood up as the rest of the crowd. Most of the people, other than the jury, the attorneys and the judge were people I didn't know, mostly reporters. Chris was taking care of my mom, while I was testifying. She couldn't handle it.

We sat down again and Sebastian grabbed my hand. I felt calm, for once, even though I knew thousands of reporters were outside, waiting for me to comment.

The trial had made a lot of people angry, which was why they were here. To show their support. To show them that they cared. And since they found out the victim was my sister, the media was eating the stories, trying to get more information, but they also respected my silence, because the crime was so aweful. Even though I normally hated the reporters, and they sometimes asked the dumbest questions, I knew this was their way to support me and Sebastian, and I was glad they did it.

"The prosecutor would like to call up Y/N to testify your honor", the pale attorney suddenly said, and brought me back to the real world. The judge nodded and I stood up. Sebastian squeezed my hand for the last time. "I love you", he whispered and let me go. I walked up next to the judge, where a man with chocolate brown skin stood holding up a book. I placed my hand on the book.

"I do solemnly and sincerely and truly declare and affirm that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth", he said out loud while looking me into the eyes. "I do solemnly and sincerely and truly declare and affirm that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth", I repeated. He let down the book and led me up to the chair next to the judge. "Great", the judge sighed and I put down his hammer. "Let's begin..."
