8 - The interview

"Which one do you like the most", I asked Sebastian and showed him my laptop. He furrowed his brows before answering. "I like them both." I rolled my eyes which made him chuckle. "You're going to be perfect no matter what you wear", he said and fell down on his back onto the bed. "That doesn't mean I can't shop for clothes", I mumbled and started to fumble with my fingers, which gave me away.

I was so nervous. In a couple of hours Anthony was going to pick us up to drive us to our first interview. My first interview. And I was online shopping trying to calm down, but it didn't work.

He turned on to his stomach and closed the laptop. "I'll make sure to find you some nice clothes, while you're going to take a hot shower, okay? And when you're done I'll make some breakfast." I pressed a gentle kiss on his lips. "You're the best", I said and got up.

We were in the car on our way to the interview. Anthony was driving and vibing to the music and Sebastian was taking a nap because he had been awake since 4AM. Trying to calm down my nerves I posted a picture of him sleeping on my instagram story. Why did he have to be so damn cute?

"4 minutes guys!", Anthony cheered and fixed his shirt. I quickly made sure everything was perfect. I wore a oversized T-shirt and a pair of mom-jeans with white sneakers and straight hair. My agent told me I had to be myself, and Sebastian thought it was a great idea, so he was the one who told me to wear it.

"Are you ready", Sebastian asked me. He looked so handsome in his black suit and white button up. Í nodded. I couldn't say anything, not right now.

He led me towards a door and Mackie followed us. "Don't worry kiddo, you can't be that bad", he teased and earned an eye roll from me. Suddenly I heard our names and the door opened.

The crowd cheered as we walked in and shook hands with Jimmy Fallon before we sat down into the couch with Sebastian in the middle and me closest to Jimmy.

"Welcome! How are you guys?", he asked. I looked at the men. "Well you know, not so much other than fangirling over our own show", Mackie answered and made the crowd chuckle.

"So Anthony and Sebastian, you guys have obviously been here before, and it is great to have you back, but I have to say Y/N is stealing the spotlight", he started with a big smile on his face. I returned the smile and blushed a bit, hoping the makeup was hiding most of it. "How is it to be the talk of the town?"

"Well", I said and thought about his question. "It has actually been a lot of fun, even though my privacy isn't what it used to be." "Don't we all miss it", Jimmy grinned. I nodded. "Yes! I miss walking into Starbucks with yesterdays clothes." The crowd chuckled lightly.

"It has been 2 weeks since the finale, and 3 weeks since we saw you for the first time on the screen", Jimmy stated and I nodded again. "Why didn't we know anything about you before?"

"I had a contract with MARVEL studios and Disney which meant I couldn't tell anyone until the episode I was in was released." "Yeah the Russo brothers said something like that yesterday when they were here... They also told me that Laurel Johnson, your charatcer, wasn't in the original script. Can you tell us anything about that?", he questioned. Anthony and Sebastian both had puzzled looks on their faces, because they didn't know about it.

I nodded and chuckled. "Yeah, that is true. They were only talking about getting Laurel into the MCU when I met them, and apparently they thought I was the one who should have the honor." "And we're all very happy you did so, because you're so good!", Jimmy said and made the audience cheer.

"So Sebastian, since we all know how Bucky is changing through out the series, I want to ask you what you think happens after the final scene, where him and Laurel drives away?" Sebastian smiled, thinking about the final scene, before he answered.

"I think him and Laurel are going out to see the world together, trying to cure him for his trauma and all that stuff. And maybe restore their old love." Some one from the crowd whistled and made the rest laugh. "Maybe Bucky's gonna get some", Mackie said and winked making us all laugh. "He does deserve it for sure."

Time went by and we all had a great time. Now it was time for the audience to ask questions. A tall woman with black hair got the microphone first. "So Y/N first of, love your style", she said and I mouthed a thank you. "But to my question; how did you know you wanted to become an actress?" I hummed as I thought about it.

"I think I always wanted to become an actress, but for me it had been more of a dream than reality until the day I met the Russo's", I answered. "And in that moment I realised I wasn't going to enjoy my life if I wasn't going to follow my dreams."

A young girl, maybe 3 years younger than me, got the mic. "Before I ask you my question, I just wanted to say how big of an inspiration you are for girls like me, who loves to finally see a girl beating everybody! But I just wanted to know, since we're all wondering, what it was like to kiss the winter soldier himself." The audience laughed, and I blushed which I hided with my laughter. Of course some one was going to ask that.

"Well...", I hesitated without making eyecontact with Sebastian. "Since he is my best friend, and I have to see his ugly face every day, I would call him a decent kisser." The crowd cheered and Sebastian and Mackie laughed. "I'll show you decent later", Sebastian whispered in my ear.

If I hadn't been an actress, I had thrown myself at him right away.
