"Can I get you something to drink?"

Depends on how much you wants to get thrown at your stupid face.

"No I'm fine", I answered and pushed away my violent thought. Chris sat down in a chair, while I sat down in his couch with Dodger. I missed that dog. And he missed me too.

"So how is everthing at home?", he asked and crossed his legs. I fought the urge to roll my eyes. "We both know why I'm here, so why don't you just tell me the truth", I replied and almost scoffed, but I kept it nice. Or tried to.

"Y/N look. I made a mistake okay", he started and scratched his chin. "And yes I did it because I was in love with you, but that was before I met your sister. When I met her at the hospital, it was like my feelings for you never existed." "Then why didn't you tell me", I questioned and avoided eyecontact. He cleared his throat. "Because I was scared that you wouldn't listen. You didn't when I tried to tell you at the hospital or in the cafe. I fucked up I know that, but you didn't even care to let me explain." I hesitated. He was right. I was really bad at listening.

"But if you truly loved me, then tell me why you did this? Sebastian is your friend. My friend. I just can't see the reason why you had to do the stuff you did..." I met his eyes for the first time since he opened the door. His beard was longer than before, so was his hair. His blue eyes were wet but he wasn't crying.

"Y/N I don't know okay...", he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "But you have to know my little crush on you were never the reason why I did this. I would never do that to anyone. If I had known about the cancer, I wouldn't have said the things I did, because then we would've known why he was acting so wierd. You have to believe me."

I petted Dodger who was laying in my lap. He was happy. He had no worries, only when he was hungry or tired.

"Honestly I don't know if I can ever forgive you", I said and cleared my throat. "You broke my trust. You hurt me Chris. But you make Charlie happy, and that is more than I could ever ask for."

He sighed and smiled softly. "I really like her Y/N, I really do. And I know this won't make everything between us right but I hope we can have a new start." I smiled and nodded. "Me too." Just as I was about to get up my phone rang.

"One second", I mumbled and picked it up without recognising the ID. "Y/N?" "This is her", I said and walked into the kitchen followed by Dodger. "Who is it?" "Doesn't matter", the unknown caller replied in a girly voice. "I just wanted to confess something." "Okay", I sighed and furrowed my brows. I wanted to hang up but the person sounded confused and I felt like something was wrong.

"I did something bad Y/N", the person started. "Actually I did a lot of bad things, so I just wanted to do one good thing." "What did you do", I asked. "Well it doesn't matter, but you just have to know I'm sorry," the person mumbled. The unknown caller was crying. "And I wished there was another way but there isn't." The girly voice started to sound familiar. "I'm sorry do I know you", I questioned.

"If you did it wouldn't matter", they said and made me realise who it was. "Charlie what are you doing", I sighed. "This isn't funny." "I know. I'm sorry." She was still crying.

It wasn't a joke.

"No I'm sorry. Where are you?" "Doesn't matter", she answered. "It does. I'm coming to get you." "Don't", she sniffled. "I just wanted to say goodbye." "Charlie this isn't you", I said and started crying.

I walked back into the living room. Chris noticed my tears and asked me if I was okay but I ignored him and ran out to the car.

"Charlie listen to me", I mumbled and wiped my tears away. "I'm going to pick you up and then we're going to get pizza alright?" "It's to late", she cried. "I've already made my decision. Goodbye Y/N." "CHARLIE DON'T YOU DARE TO DO THIS TO ME", I screamed into my phone as I walked out on the porch. Sebastian had gotten out of the car and furrowed his brows when he saw me running out followed by Chris.

"I love you."

She ended the call.

My whole world fell apart and I fell down on my knees. I was speechless. "Y/N", Chris said and waved at Sebastian to come over. He ran towards us and gave Chris a worried glance. I quickly tried to locate her phone but she had turned it off.

That was when I realised it would be the last time I heard her voice.

She had left me.
