Peter Parker

That next day was Peter Parker's time for an interview but he wasn't coming into the Avengers facility. When Peter agreed to do the interview by video chat, Dr. Simon wasn't surprised. He was still young and before he moved to being a psychological therapist specializing in mental disorders, he was a school therapist that sat down with students who just needed to vent. And this seemed like something Peter needed to vent about.

He told Peter he could start the chat when he finished school but he had a feeling Peter might be early. Until then, he sent a few compliance drills for Winter that Steve had asked for.

"Hello?" Peter said, as his screen showed his face.

"Mr. Parker, hello."

"Hello? Can you see me?"

"I can see and hear you, Peter."

"Oh, good. Mr. Stark gave me a new laptop, I'm still trying to figure it out."

"I understand. How was your day, Peter?"

"Oh, uh, pretty good. I had a test today and I aced it."

"Good. What do you say we get right into the questions, I'm sure you have homework?"

"It's easy but, yeah, we can start."

"Okay, tell me how about your relationship with Bucky's system."

"What do you mean?"

"Tell me your relationship with Bucky, James and Winter. You know if it's anything good or anything bad. You can tell me how you met each one."

"I haven't met James. Sorry."

"It's fine, you're one of many. What about Bucky?"

"Bucky and I got off on the wrong foot when we met. I accidentally ate his cookies and he freaked out. Like he wanted to kill me."

"Bucky is rather protective of his sweets."

"I know and I felt bad. Sam said that we should wrestle so Bucky can get his anger out. That's where we both made a mistake. We were doing fine until Bucky bit me and I accidentally sprayed a web in his face."

"Oh no."

"He had a panic attack and this was the same day that Ms. Romanoff told me about his history. I didn't know one of his triggers were masks."

"I can understand why you feel bad, Peter, but Bucky does have to learn that biting is wrong."

"I know and I'm sure Sam told that to him when he talked to him. They all told me biting was his biggest issue."

"Still is."

"Is something wrong with his mouth, is it like babies when they chew on toys?"

"Well in a sense, Bucky has an oral fixation meaning if he puts something in his mouth it's giving him either a positive or negative stimulation. This goes along with his sensory processing disorder, he either needs input or release."

"Does that go along with the drooling?"

"No, the drooling is the result of Bucky's jaw being broken and fixed repeatedly. So his salivation is sometimes out of whack. It's like your mouth watering for food but it doesn't stop even if you get what you need."

"Wow, I didn't know that. That's a lot for him to take on."

"But he has done exceptionally well regaining control over his body."

"I can't imagine someone having control over my body for seventy years. I feel like Bucky has all the reason to be defiant."

"He can be defiant but he has to learn how to communicate why he doesn't want to do something. He has to know that throwing a tantrum is not going to make his problems go away, it's only delaying it."
