As much as Steve didn't want to admit, he didn't want to celebrate Father's Day. Not after his guardianship of Bucky had been voided. He didn't want to do much since this court stuff was going on. His emotions were all over the place and Bucky didn't want to go anywhere.

That was about to change.

Today they sat in Bucky's sensory room. Bucky was laying on his swing and Steve was sitting on the couch. Essentially, this was quiet time. No noise, expect the dogs snoring, and no technology. Just them in the sensory room. Until the door bell rang and the dogs ran downstairs barking.

"Friday?" Steve groaned.

"Ms. Romanoff and Mr. Wilson." Friday said. Steve sighed and rubbed his face. So much for quiet time. He got up and went downstairs while Bucky stayed upstairs. He opened the door and sighed.

"What?"

"Hey, how are you? Good. Want to come in? Sure, thanks Steve." Nat said, coming inside with Sam.

"Why are you here?"

"I texted you this morning saying happy Father's Day and you ignored it. And you did the same to Sam, so what's the problem?"

"There's no problem, I'm just not acknowledging it."

"Right. You look bothered, who hurt you?"

They weren't going to leave him alone today, as much as he wanted to be left alone. "My guardianship over Bucky has been voided."

"Oh." They both said.

"Yeah, I'm not trying to think too much on it. But it's hard, especially today with all the reminders."

"No one knew." Sam said.

"Dr. Simon knows and I believe he said he told the twins when they asked."

"Okay, now everything makes sense. How about we go out?" Nat said.

"No."

"Steve, you've been stuck in the house for a few days and I'm sure Bucky wants to go out."

"He doesn't."

"He will if there's food involved. Is he asleep?"

"No."

"Hey, Buckster." Sam called out. They waited until they heard light humming and steps coming down the stairs. Bucky came around the corner and smiled when he saw Sam and Nat. "Hey, kid, you want to go somewhere today?" Bucky shook his head. "What if it's to go get food?" Bucky perked up a bit. Sam knew he would. "We can try Olive Garden or Red Lobster, both have seafood. And other stuff that you'll like." Bucky looked at Steve, who looked at the clock. Just past four in the afternoon. They were going to get hungry and eventually find food because they haven't been to the store in a while.

"Fine, we can go. Can you fill that toy with treats and peanut butter for Chase, please?" Steve asked. Sam nodded while they went upstairs. "I'll lay out your clothes, go potty." Bucky went in the bathroom while Steve picked out black jeans and a gray shirt. Bucky could dress himself so Steve went to dress himself.

After they were both dressed, Sam was playing with Chase. Nat and Harley were on the couch.

"Having fun?" Steve asked.

"You have two dogs on two different places on the energy scale, I don't know how you do that."

"Well Chase taught Harley to have fun and Harley taught Chase to relax. So they balance each other. Can we go?"

"What's the rush, Rogers?" Nat asked.

"I just don't want to be out for too long."

"Alright, let's go." Sam tossed the toy onto the dog bed. Chase occupied himself with his toy while they went outside to the car. Bucky poked at Sam's neck through the head rest the entire way there. Steve wondered where he got that little trick from.
