And that is why I will never use trigonometry in my entire FUCKING LIFE...
I quickly hold down my backspace button on my computer, deleting the previous statement. I let out a sigh and type a serious response to the question.
Problem 1: A person 100 meters from the base of a tree, observes that the angle between the ground and the top of the tree is 18 degrees. Estimate the height h of the tree to the nearest tenth of a meter.
It's 12:00 a.m and I have four trig and FIVE papers past due. If it wasn't for the constant advances from Iphegenia's lackeys, I would've been done with this shit already.
My eyes are starting to burn from the bright light of my computer screen.
Okay, let me get this problem done, I say to myself.
Looking over the problem once more, I slam my laptop shut.
Yeah, fuck this, I'm taking a break.
I grab my bag and sprits a bit of perfume on my wrists and head out. It's pretty dark outside and the still night air smells clean and it's quite comforting.
I begin my walk to the cafe and I hear a rustling in the bush near me and I don't know if it's because of recent events or cause I'm alone at night but my heart nearly stopped.
I started holding my breath with a rock at the ready. I wait a bit to see if I wasn't tripping, but the sound starts again. I scan the area and turn on my flash to reveal a lizard darting across the sidewalk.
I exhale and continue my journey to the cafe.
It's not long before I make it to the cafe.
There aren't many people inside but I do see a figure wiping down a table.
Pulling on the left side of the double door, I find that it's locked. I try the right door and get the same result.
What the-
My eyes shift to the weekly hours on the door and I groan.
Don't tell me... I look at my watch on my wrist. They just closed twenty minutes ago.
The figure from inside stops wiping the table and looks at me.
They mouth something to me but I can't make out what it is they said.
They walk over to me and open the door.
"Hey, I'm sorry but we're closed." Ace says as she points to the weekly hours sign that's posted on the door. She doesn't really look up at me because she's giving the typical 'get the hell outta my cafe, we're closed speech'.
"We open bright and early tomorrow though."
Ace finally looks up to see me there. She gives me a slight smile, her eyes shifting away from me.
Don't you look at me like that after you ghosted my ass!
"Oh, h-hey!" She says a bit too loud.
