Audree and Zahaire spend their weeks trying their best to put the past month's events behind them and try their best to live out "normal lives".

As the weeks pass, reports of people found dead with their brains missing have significantly increased. Audree and Zahair could turn a blind eye, but they felt an overwhelming responsibility to what was going on.

Afterall, they were the only ones that knew about the invasion.

One day, as Audree and Zahaire sit in the quad. Zahaire looks at his wavy haired friend, letting out an aggravating groan.

"I can't do this anymore, Audree!" The brown haired boy combs his hand through his matted dreads. "I can't just act like everything is normal, when we could be helping people...I-it's just not right!"

"Zahaire, it's not our fault...we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time." Audree share's the lie she had been telling herself all month long.

More weeks pass and things still take a toll on Zahaire.

He begins to lose sleep, he's constantly anxious, and his grades begin to slip. On the other hand, Audree still puts on a front, attempting to eventually fool herself into believing that they have no part in this.

Zahaire wakes up in a cold sweat. He is out of breath and his sheets are drenched as well as his clothes. He has woken up from the same nightmare that plagued him for several nights.

He is sitting at a table in a basement. There is a nice meal laid out in front of him but when he goes to take a bite the food turns into a decomposing brain. He looks up and all of his walls are torn down, exposing him to the outside world. Where he sees people screaming as shadow figures chase them hunting for their brains. When Zahaire tries to move, he is paralized. The dream ends with Braylon approaching him with a drill and scalpel in hand. He then drops everything. With a disappointed look on his face, he turns and begins walking away from him. Dissolving into nothing; gone forever.

Zahaire calls Audree telling her about his nightmare. This wasn't the first time he called her past midnight about his night terrors. His roommate Chris was a heavy sleeper. Zahaire could wake up screaming from the top of his lungs and Chris wouldn't even flinch

Everytime--without hesitation, Audree would sneak into his dorm to comfort him. Eventually she decided enough was enough. Audree couldn't stand to see Zahaire suffer anymore.

The two best friends both come to terms with the fact that they are involved in the alien mumbo jumbo whether they like it or not and they spend their next few days trying to find their favorite alien, Braylon.
