Honda Hitomi's POV

Nako and I were on the bus, on the way home. Minju and Yuri already went their own ways.

"You know what, I really had fun today." Nako suddenly spoke so I looked at her. She was sitting by the window while I was next to her. Her eyes shined and her smile looked genuine.

My heart suddenly raced.

She's beautiful, I thought to myself.
I mentally cursed as I thought of it.

"Yeah. I did too." I tried to control my heartbeat but it wouldn't listen.

"Not long ago... it was only the two of us but now, we have two more friends." Nako looked outside of the window, admiring the streets, while I was admiring her.

"I know, right? It was always the two of us ever since we were in diapers." I laughed a bit after saying those words. And she did too.

Nako and I basically grew up together. It was always the two of us. We're practically married to each other.

We knew everything about each other even the most trivial things.

I met Nako through my parents. Her Dad and My Dad were business partners. They would always meet up and whenever they did, they'd bring us.

They put us in the same school and the same classes so we could look out for each other. Time passed by and we grew fond of each other.

We always had each other's back. We always supported each other. We were each other's ride or die.

When she told me about her plan on moving out, I was honestly against it first because I knew how much she loved her parents. I knew that doing that might affect their relationship big time. Her parents talked me into convincing Nako to stay in Japan, and I was planning to convince her as well. But seeing how passionate she was, I had no choice but to support her. I am her best friend, after all.

She saved up money she got from her parents and she eventually did it. As much as I wanted to go and follow her, my parents didn't allow me to. Nako finally left, I couldn't see her for a month. It was torture but at least, she was pursuing her dreams.

We called each other every single day since she left. Until one day, she called me, crying saying she got scammed and lost most of her money. Upon hearing that, I begged my parents to let me go and they did. They did so much for Nako and me.

When I went to Korea. My school was already prepared beforehand. I've been enrolled in a prestigious school and I got an apartment to live in. All I needed to do was to find Nako.

I found her and offered to live with me. She agreed and we lived together. I arrived in Korea before the school year started but I transferred after several months because I waited for Nako to go back to school. My parents said they'd take care of everything but Nako was stubborn. It took me about a month to finally convince her to go back to school,

And now, we have two more friends and I couldn't be happier

I went back to reality when the bus stopped and we got out of the bus.

We took the stairs and went to our floor. We entered our apartment and both collapsed on the couch. We laughed at each other.

But I stopped laughing and went to my room to change my clothes.

I heard my phone ringing, so I looked for it but I couldn't find it.

"Hii, your phone's ringing!" Nako shouted. "It's your Dad!" She continued.
She knocked on my door and I opened it. She handed me my phone and I thanked her.
