Jo Yuri's POV

"HEY, GUYS WAKE UP! We have school today!!!" I tried to lightly shake them off but they all seemed unbothered.

"Goddammit." I took a deep breath "KIM MINJU, YABUKI NAKO, HONDA HITOMI WAKE THE FUCK UP OR I'LL BURN YOUR UNIFORMS." With that, the bread addict, the dwarf, and the frog immediately opened their eyes.

They looked at me as if they wanted to bury me alive.

"What's with all the fuzz, Jo Yuri?" Hitomi asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Well, it's almost 7 and you three are still half asleep." I spat they all casually stood up and started to get their things.

My head hurts, and I'm still sleepy myself but we can't be late for school.

Last night, we decided to have a sleepover at Minju's house— We didn't fucking expect that she had a goddamn mansion. I mean, we know she's rich but the girl had a mansion almost as big as a whole village and I'm not exaggerating things... or maybe I am.

We talked 'til dawn. As much as I'd like to be filled with all the latest tea, I need at least two hours of sleep or I'll collapse.
thank goodness they got tired of talking and decided to sleep.

"Nako, Tomi, there are guest rooms next to mine, there are bathrooms there. The two you can shower there." Minju stated as she was carrying her uniform to her bathroom.

Hitomi and Nako nodded and went out to take a shower. While I, stood there in Minju's room, bored because I already took a shower in Minju's bathroom thirty minutes ago.

Earlier, a maid went into Minju's room to wake us up but I told her I can do it instead.

I scrolled through my Instagram and I passed through an Ad. It was a travel ad and it featured Busan. My hometown. The place I grew up in. My biggest nightmare. And where I met her.

As I was watching the AD, it reminded me of her. The girl last year. The one who pushed me to run away and be free.

"I wonder where she is now." I unconsciously said.

I got too lost in my own thoughts that I didn't notice Minju coming out of her bathroom.

"Hey, you okay?" I heard what she said but my brain couldn't process anything in this state.

I gasped when I felt someone touching my shoulders, it brought me back to my senses.

"Hey, Yul, are you okay? You're spacing out." Minju asked once again. I looked at her, with my mouth wide open.

"Y-Yeah, I was just sleepy." I reasoned out and she continued to do her own thing.

I turned my phone off and decided to go down to the kitchen to get some water. When I got there, I saw Minju's dad coming out of his office— I think. He smiled, "Oh you're Minju's friend, right?"

I quickly placed the glass on the counter and bowed, "Ah yes sir I'm Jo Yuri."

"You don't have to call me sir. Just call me Uncle. I don't wanna seem old—" He was about to say something else but he was cut off by his phone. He fished it out of his pocket and answered it.

"Hello." He looked at me and excused himself. I just nodded and picked up the glass I used and washed it.

I didn't want to eavesdrop on his phone calls but I heard a tiny bit of it. He left the mansion with his secretary. He seemed like a busy man.
