Yena and Yuri in Busan.
"Yena Unnie, you ready?" Yuri asked Yena and the older just hummed as a response.
Yena's mind was preoccupied with what she'll do after she gets discharged. She came here without a plan, now, she has to make one. She didn't want to continue to burden the younger. It made her guilty that the girl skipped a week of school to take care of her.
The two left the hospital with the doctor's last advice to Yena. It's for her to still be careful since her wounds are still not a hundred percent healed yet.
Yena and Yuri walked around the area near the hospital, It was already 7:00 in the morning when Yena got discharged. Yuri was wearing her school uniform.
They reached the bus stop and waved their goodbyes.
"So, I guess this is goodbye?" Yuri said to Yena. Yuri didn't want to let Yena leave but she's nothing to the girl, she thought.
Yena didn't reply.
"Bye. Unnie. I hope we meet again, someday." Yuri said and rode the bus on her way to school.
She sat near the window and saw Yena staring straight into her eyes. She just waved and looked at the older while the bus slowly departed but it was stopped with someone running and calling for it.
The bus stopped. Yuri looked surprised, not expecting Yena to ride it.
Yena walked towards Yuri with a smile on her face.
"Is the seat next to yours occupied, Miss?" Yena grinned and Yuri mindlessly shook her head. Yena sat beside Yuri.
"I-I thought you were going back home?" Yuri asked Yena. After talking last night, Yena told her that she will come back to Seoul as soon as she gets discharged since she had nowhere else to go.
"Nah. I wanna stay here for a few days more. I went here to have fun but I ended up in the hospital. It'd be a shame not to take a quick tour here." Yena lied. She went there to get away from her problems but she couldn't tell the girl because she'd end up telling her about the Guardians. Plus, she wanted to spend more time with Yuri even if it's just a few days.
Gladly, Yuri bought Yena's excuse.
"So, you're going to school?" Yena asked Yuri.
"Y-Yeah." Yuri's eyes looked worried.
"Great! I'm coming with you!" Yena wanted to see and experience the environment Yuri grew up in.
"NO!" Yena was surprised by Yuri's sudden shout.
The people on the bus looked at them, slowly judging them. Both of them bowed and apologize for the sudden commotion.
"Why? I want to go to your school" Yena's innocent question brought waves of worry to Yuri.
Yena can't know that Yuri is their school's official outcast. That everyone made fun of Yuri. She can't let the older know that the entire school is bullying her. She didn't want Yena to hate her too, Yena was her first friend. She didn't want to lose her though Yena's leaving in a few days.
