Honda Hitomi's POV.
I am in the kitchen, cooking breakfast for the girls because I woke up early today. I just got back from my thirty-minute walk and now working on the food we'll eat.
I wasn't really able to sleep comfortably. Maybe it's because I am not used to this place, it took me quite some time to adjust to it.
Surprisingly, Chaewon Unnie was already awake too. She's now in the living room, staring blankly at the main door. I just let her do her thing, and I did mine.
I must admit, she looks pretty in her t-shirt and shorts. Actually, Chaewon Unnie is really pretty whatever she wears. If she wasn't too quiet for my noisy ass, I might crush on her. But then again, I'm too chaotic for her calm personality, our energies just don't match.
I'd personally like someone who fights back, someone who's equally noisy as me, someone who is as crazy as me. I'm not saying Chaewon Unnie is boring but that's what I prefer.
I was done chopping the ingredients I'll use for the kimchi fried rice and omelet. It's a pretty basic dish.
20 minutes had passed and I am almost done cooking the food.
I was stirring the fried rice when Chaewon Unnie stood up and walked to the kitchen. She took a cup and looked at me, "Tomi, Do you want coffee?"
"Yes, please." I answered, and she just nodded, "With two teaspoons of creamer and a teaspoon of sugar, thanks." I continued, she smiled timidly and quietly made our coffee.
Awkward. Super fucking awkward. I am not exaggerating things (or maybe I am) but I swear I can hear crickets inside this room.
Thank Goodness I am finally finished. I carefully placed all the food I cooked on clean plates. I transferred it to the dining table and fixed two plates for Chaewon Unnie and me.
She must be done with the coffee so she walked to where I was and placed the coffee on the table.
"Thanks... " I paused, pushing a plate to her side. "Here." She looked at me blankly, Oh God... this is so awkward.
"Eat?" I said in a small voice.
I am the great Honda Hitomi, why am I getting intimidated by Chaewon Unnie's cold stares. So what if she has a cold personality, she won't harm me.
She won't harm me, right?
Hearing my small voice, she let out a small laugh.
Why is she laughing? Is she actually gonna kill me?
"Hitomi, you do know that you look so tense right now. You look like you just peed your pants." She laughed. Her laugh echoed the whole room.
OH MY GOD.
This is the first time I saw her laugh like this. She's prettier when she laughs.
"Oh, fuck off." I jokingly glared at her.
I can't be intimidated.
