Choi Yena's POV.
My hamster. She's finally here.
"So. You're telling me that Yuri was the girl from Busan, the one you were talking about the moment you returned here after disappearing in the hospital?" Hyewon asked me.
"You were gone for a week and you suddenly returned and the first thing you said was that you met a girl. You didn't even greet us. Damn, Choi Yena I felt so betrayed back then." Sakura dramatically held her chest.
I nodded.
"The girl who you repeated your first year for?" Everyone looked at me after hearing Chaewon's question.
"Oh my god. WAIT— OH MY GOD SO YENA UNNIE FAILED HER FIRST YEAR FOR YURI UNNIE?!" Yujin started laughing and pointed fingers at me.
"Oh, Fuck you, Kim Chaewon." I glared at Chaewon. I was slightly embarrassed.
"Fuck yourself, stupid duck." Chaewon stuck her tongue out to piss me off.
It was true. I purposely failed her first year for Yuri. I thought that Yuri would find me faster if we were in the same year. I told Yuri about my school before I left. And it'd be better if I and Yuri were in the same year level.
"WAIT. So, Yena Unnie ran away a year ago and somehow ended up in Busan where she met Yuri and stayed with her for more than a week and became good friends?" Hitomi summarized the story that I just told them. I and Yuri nodded.
Of course, I skipped some parts. The gangster part. The bullying part since it's not my story to tell, we should wait for Yuri to be comfortable and tell it to us herself. And the uh beach part, I skipped it because it was a special moment for me. Plus, those assholes will never let me breathe, they would just tease the fuck out of me.
The squad was amazed at how the two of us have met before.
"Yuri Unnie how long has it been since you moved here?" Wonyoung suddenly asked Yuri. Everyone's eyes turned to Yuri.
I looked at Yuri too.
"It's been five months, I think? Or was it six? I think it's been six months, why?" Yuri answered her, not quite sure as to why Wonyoung asked her.
"You've been in this school for six months and you're telling me that you never saw Yena Unnie at least once???" With Wonyoung's sentence, it made the whole squad think.
It made me think too. Wait that's right, how come I've never seen Yuri here if she's been here for half a year?
"Oh, shi— that's right! Wow, Jang Wonyoung how smart are you? How come we've never thought of that?" Wonyoung blushed with Nako's sudden compliment.
Cute.
"Stop babying Wonyoung you old hags." Yujin pouted. She was complaining that everyone kept babying Wonyoung but not her.
"Oh no, we ain't babying you, big dog. Wonyoung is a baby and you smell." Sakura Unnie shook her head violently. She ran away from Yujin's hug.
We all laughed at how Yujin looked like a dog who got scolded by her owner.
"Yo... but seriously though you two never met inside the campus?" Chaeyeon wanted to make sure. It was weird for me too. I mean what the actual fuck?
I and Yuri shook our heads.
I have no idea how many times I moved my head. I kept nodding and shaking my head today. Neck exercise.
