Niall Horan

I feel bad for leaving Luna this morning, but I had to before she figured out what really happened last night at the cafe. After leaving, I ran back to my apartment, and I've been sitting at my piano ever since. I wanted to write a song, I needed to write a song. I knew it would be about my dream, I just didn't know how to start it though, so I spent my entire day staring at the porcelain keys plunking one every few minutes.

"You okay mate?" Harry came in placing a hand on my shoulder.

"N-no, not really." I didn't look up at him, I just stared mind blankly at the keys.

"Do you need anything?" He let go of my shoulder, but I could tell he was still right next to me.

"Could you and Lou leave for a couple of hours?" I wanted to be completely alone, not have them kissing in the room upstairs.

"Um sure, if that's what you want." He sounded like he didn't want to go, mostly because they can't be together in public, but I don't care, it's my penthouse.

"Thanks, Harry." I plunked two more keys as he walked away.

I placed my hands on my lap playing with my fingers, I don't know what to write, but I just have this urge to write that won't go away until I write. Suddenly I heard Louis' angry footsteps behind me.

"Were not leaving, were the fucking guests! We can't go anywhere in public together dumbass!" He screamed standing beside me, but I kept my vision on my hands still in my lap.

"Sorry Niall, I tried to stop him." Harry came rushing in too, placing his hand on Louis' shoulders. I finally looked up at them standing together.

"We aren't leav-" He stopped, and I was confused, he was just about to scream at me. "Oh sorry mate, we'll leave." They both shuffled away without another word, leaving me even more confused than ever.

"Remember Niall, make sure to freshen up before tonight." Harry said before they both left.

Tonight? Shit. I completely forgot I was throwing a fucking party here. I groaned resting my head on the piano keys creating a loud noise. I took a deep breath and sat back up again. Maybe this song needed to be on the guitar instead. I reached for my guitar sitting upon a stand right next to my piano resting it on my thigh. I stared at the instrument strumming random chords lightly after I pressed record on my phone just in case I actually got something good.

I have seen, seen it all in paper dreams
Watched it all full on the screen
But never understood
I have heard, have heard you speak a million words
Now you're talking to me first
Never thought you would

I sang softly and strummed a few chords to create a rhythm. The lyrics brought back the memories from my dream, a tear slipping down my cheek. I'm not sure why this made me so emotional, the thought of her, the woman I just met, was making me cry.

Oh, my, my, you just took me by surprise
And I can't believe my eyes
Oh, I must be seeing blind
Oh no, my, you are too good to be all mine
Now I'm looking in your eyes
Oh, I must be seeing blind

I thought about how beautiful she looked as her hair blew in the warm breeze. I didn't even know her personality, but my mind made it so perfect and sweet. I felt like I needed her in my life like she's a missing part of me.

I was young, my heart was always on the run
But you made lovin' fun
I never knew it could be, ey
I see you from a different point of view
Feel it's too good to be true
I found my missing piece
