Can you let me in?

Chp 9

Natasha runs into the compound, returning in record time. "What do we know?" She states seeing everyone gathered in a conference scanning through information.

"How are you here?" Steve looks up confused. "Your flight should have taken a couple more hours?"

"Nat, thank god." Wanda says, immediately pulling her into a hug. Nat can see the red tear stained cheeks on the younger avenger.

"It's okay. I'm here now, we will find her. Now what do we know?" Natasha says again looking at the other avengers.

"There have been four power outages." Tony says pulling a map up on the screen marking the areas where each outage had been. "She seems to be heading North, the last one was 15 minutes ago. Assuming she is travelling by foot" Tony pauses and draws a circle on the map. "She is probably somewhere in this area."

"Okay." Natasha says, pausing looking at the information. "What aren't you telling me?"

Everyone shifted in their chairs not sure what to say. Natasha looks at each of them, waiting for someone to break.

Bucky looks up. "We aren't the only people looking for Surge"

"Y/n" Natasha interrupts glaring at him. Bucky nods.

"Y/n power outages are, well they are like her fingerprint. Other groups will notice these outages and easily be able to connect them back to her. In her little mindset whoever finds her will, well control her. We can probably expect them here within the hour." Bucky says, pausing before continuing. "Y/n recognized me, that is why she ran."

Natashas jaw clenched, "You stay here." She said without looking at Bucky. "Everyone else suit up."

The team immediate gets ready and heads into the quinjet towards the last power outage.

"If anyone finds Y/n do not approach her, call Wanda or I. She trusts us. Understood?" Natasha commands.

The team all nod looking around. Tony whispers to Steve next to him. "Steve, if we don't find her. I don't think they will recover."

Steve just nods knowing its true. "We won't stop until we do."

Natasha looks and Wanda, the two nod. They knew neither of them would give up until they had their babygirl back.

Everyone splits up looking for y/n. Thirty minutes pass and still nothing. Finally, Friday interrupts the comms.

"New power outage reported 5 blocks from you Wanda." Friday states.

"I'm on my way." She says quickly flying over.

From her aerial view she can see a dozen of Hydra agents at the building. "We have company. I count 12 Hydra Agents surrounding the back of the building." Wanda states over comms.

"I make 17, 5 just walked down the alley." Steve says standing by.

"I'm going in." Wanda states.

"Wait for backup." Nat commands over comms.

"I'll be fine, you know I can move things with my mind, right?" Wanda says, flying down.

"Wands" Natasha starts but knows there is no way to reason with her.

Wanda quickly takes care of the 12 agents surrounding the back entrance of the building. Knowing Steve can hand the ones in the alley she heads inside. She slowly starts clearing the first floor, holding balls of energy in each hand incase. By the time she heads to the second floor she knows the team is with her.
