Can you let me in?

Part 19

Y/n woke up at 3 am restless. For some reason she just couldn't stay asleep tonight. Both her Mamas have tried everything to get her to sleep. Mama sang a lullaby, Mommy held her and bounced her trying to lull her. Eventually y/n fell asleep but she had been waking up every hour since 11 pm. Y/n felt guilty about waking her Mamas again so she decided to try to put herself back to sleep. Maybe a cup of milk would help, that's what she used to always do.

Silently y/n crawled out of bed, keeping her blanket in hand. She silently walked to the door and opened it. She started walking down the hallway until she came to the stairs. Y/n knew she could do stairs but for some reason they seemed more daunting at the moment.

Y/n stares at the stairs, she really wanted to grab the milk but she didn't want to go down. Y/n starts to cry a bit.

Melina is working in the living room, researching how the freed widows are going. As she is working she hears someone whining. She looks up and sees y/n standing at the top of the stairs holding onto a blanket.

Melina quickly closes her laptop and heads up the stairs. "Hi y/n, do you want to come downstairs?" Melina asks. Y/n nods.

"Okay, let's go." Melina says, holding out her hand.

Y/n heisatently takes it. Melina steps down a step waiting for y/n to but she doesn't. Melina stops for a moment before looking back at y/n. "Could I pick you up?" Melina askes.

Y/n nods, holding out her arms for Melina. Melina quickly picks her up and walks down the stairs and over to the kitchen.

"Do you know, when your Mama and Auntie couldn't sleep I would make them a special drink. Do you want to try it?" Melina asks, setting y/n on the counter. Y/n eagerly nods.

"Okay, you stay here." Melina says as she walks through the kitchen.

She starts to warm some water, making sure not to make it too hot for y/n and puts a few teabags in. She slowly stirs some honey in before bringing it up to y/n's lips. Y/n takes a few sips and smiles.

"How about we get you back up to your Mamas." Melina says earning a small nod from y/n.

Melina picks y/n up and carries her up to the room. Slowly slipping in and setting y/n back on the bed. The second y/n is in the bed Nat immediately cuddles into her earning a soft smile from y/n.

"Nighty Night y/n." Melina says before sneaking out of the room.

When Natasha woke up in the morning she looked over and saw y/n's head tucked in Wanda's shirt.

Natasha smiled before noticing a mug on the nightstand. She took a sip and instantly recognized the flavor. She smiled knowing y/n must have woken up in the night and Melina made her sleepy tea.

Nat quickly leaned over and kissed Wanda's head before walking down to the kitchen.

Nat grabs two cups of coffee before heading back upstairs. Once she quickly opens the door she notices y/n is already out of bed showering. Nat climbs back into bed cuddling into Wanda's side.

"You know I never pictured you as a cuddler." Wanda mumbles as she pulls Nat in tighter.

"And you won't tell anyone." Natasha sighs, leaning into her touch. "Y/n in her big space?" Nat asks.

"Yes, you think she'd be showering alone if she wasn't?" Wanda asks, knowing their babygirl wouldn't want to be alone if she was in her little space.

"Touche" Natasha says.

"I see you brought coffee." Wanda says starting to sit up. Earning a groan from Nat, "Can we just stay like this for a couple minutes?"

Wanda chuckles. "Okay, Miss cuddly"
