Chp 38

The family falls into a routine of spending the afternoons catching up on everything they have missed the last few years. Followed by some cuddling on the couch and rewatching old movies. Wanda noticed a couple nights Natasha snuck out only to return a few hours later, she knew not to ask and decided to wait for Natasha to tell her.

"You know y/n doesn't understand Russian." Natasha says confused at the choice, joining the family for movie night.

"But mama wook ats all da cowlors!" Y/n explains pointing at the tv excitedly.

Natasha pauses a second looking at the tv before looking at both yelena and y/n who are both mesmerized by the cartoon.

"I stand corrected." Natasha says smiling at the moment unfolding in front of her. Though it was a simple night in, it still meant the world to her.

A gentle knock at the door pulled her from her trance.

Natasha immediately grabs for a long sword hidden close by.

Both wanda and yelena look at each other before looking back at nat.

"Umm what's that?" Wanda asks, confused why Natasha didn't go for her usual gun.

"Mama iss a kight!!" Y/n exclaims loudly.

A light chuckle comes from the other side of the door.

"Nats still got that stupid sword thing?" The voice says laughing a bit.

Natasha quickly opens the door. "Shut it Clint. What are you even doing here?"

"What, you think I'm just going to leave you hanging after "you know what"? Also I saw the news." Clint says, whispering the last part. But both Yelena and Wanda seemed to hear it eyeing each other.

"Plus I had to come see y/n and give them this!" Clint says, grabbing a small stuffed black widow out of his bag.

"It mama!!" Y/n explains making grabby hands for it!

"Yes it is!" Clint says smiling, handing it to y/n who quickly hugs it.

"You really had to get her that?" Natasha asks, slightly annoyed.

"Look, she loves it!" Clint says, seeing y/n tucking it protectively under her arm. "Sorry Wanda, I forgot to grab yours."

"Oh trust me it's fine." Wanda says, pulling Clint into a hug.

"It's good to see you." Clint says.

"Good to see you too." Wanda says before entering into his mind looking for anything on Natasha from the last 5 years. But before she can see anything Clint whispers to her. "I'll tell you everything tonight."

Wanda smiles and pulls away.

"Where's Laura and the kids?" Natasha asked.

"They went to go see Laura's parents, I told them I'd be joining them in a few days. Just wanted to see you guys." Clint explains. Natasha continued to eye him, uneasy around him still.

"Yeah of course that's fine. Y/n will share a room with Yelena, right girls?" Wanda adds.

"Mhmm!" Y/n says nodding before cuddling back into Yelena.

"Are you sure we should let them share a room?" Natasha says.

"Ah yes because we are totally going to have sex with you in the room next door. Though that may be your style it is not mine. Plus she's little, nothing will be happening." Yelena says, rolling her eyes at Natasha.

"Yena looks at this!" Y/n says throwing the black widow stuffie up in the air and catching.

"No way!" Yelena says smiling at y/n causing y/n to giggle and smile back.
