The Bandit Clan's Revenge

An hour has passed since Romeo had run off to go and collect Weng and though Naruto didn't think that it should be taking this long to get there and back, he didn't think much of it since he and Ryu were quite preoccupied with their own training at the moment. As Naruto was about to cast the spell that he had been trying to master, he felt a disturbance in the link that connected him to his Celestial Spirits.

Though Naruto knew that they would be able to protect himself, he was still worried about them and almost immediately; Naruto cut off the mana that he was feeding to the spell he was about to cast so he could go and investigate the reason behind the disturbance he felt. Just as he was about to call out to Ryu, Naruto saw that he too was cutting off the mana he was feeding to his spell. 

Naruto was quite thankful that Ryu was taking to his spirits in the same manor that he was and not becoming a Mage like the ones that still haunt many of the Celestial Spirits that they have met. 

Now that both himself and Ryu were ready to head off to see what was happening with their spirits, Naruto bolted in the direction that he was feeling the link being pulled and from the sounds coming from behind him; he knew that Ryu was doing the same thing. 

With each step that Naruto took, he could feel that the bond he shared with his spirits was getting stronger, which was telling him that he must be getting closer to where they were located. From the scenery that they were passing and since they were heading in the direction that Romeo had brought them; Naruto assumed that the trouble that they were warning him about involved the two that he was planning on training. 

Within a short amount of time, the energy from the bond that was created felt as if it was coming from right in front of them which caused Naruto to slow himself down so he wouldn't cause any noise that would draw attention to their arrival. Seeing Naruto's movement slow, Ryu did the same though not before he was able to catch up with his blond companion. 

Now that both Naruto and Ryu were side by side, they crept towards the energy readings that they were getting which seemed to be coming from a thicket of trees that was up ahead of them. From the distance that they were, it wouldn't take either Mage all that long to get to and this was proved quite easily since they arrived outside the thicket soon after they spotted it. 

From where they stood, Naruto could hear snarling coming from within which told him that Sanos must be within his animal form since it would allow him to protect those within without accidently stepping on them which was possible in his Celestial Form. Pushing his way through the trees, Naruto eventually came to the center of the thicket which was completely clear of the trees that shielded it. This allowed him to see that both his Celestial Spirits as well as Ryu's were circled around Romeo and Weng. Besides his companions, Naruto noticed others within the bunch and from the way that they were dressed; Naruto assumed that they were bandits though whether they were members of the group that he slaughtered the day before was unknown to him at this time. 

"Where are the brats that are responsible for the deaths of my Clan?" a middle-aged female screeched out as she took a step towards Sanos and the others. 

This was clearly not what she should have done since the moment that her foot came down upon the ground, an arrow pierced it which pinned her to the same earth that she had stepped on. From the scream that tore from her throat, Naruto could see that she was quite pained by the attack though this didn't stop her from tearing the arrow from her body. "I will have your head for this! Though not before you tell me where that blond little bastard is that killed my men!" the leader of these bandit's snarled as she snapped the arrow that she held within her hands in half. 

Knowing that this situation could turn dangerous for those within the clearing that were allied with him, Naruto decided that his appearance would be the best thing to help dissuade this bunch from going after those that he cared for. Though he planned on showing himself, Naruto wished to do it in a way that would make it quite difficult for anyone to ever forget him. Deciding that now would be the best time to use the spell that he was practicing, Naruto readied himself to do just that. "Prominence Whip!" Naruto muttered to himself as he pushed the mana towards his hand as well as whipping his appendage in a arc to force the spell to do as he wished.
