It didn't take Naruto and Ryu very long to get from Ryu's bedroom to the palace's throne room and once they did; Naruto immediately made his way inside. Once Naruto was fully inside of the throne room, he could see that the Fire Daimyo was already meeting with someone else and as such; Naruto thought that it would be best to keep himself away from the conversation so he wouldn't offend neither party that was involved within it.

Thankfully, the conversation between the Daimyo and the stranger didn't take very long and pretty soon the other individual was making their way towards the exit of the throne room. Not wishing to block this stranger's path, Naruto quickly shifted out of the way mere moments before the stranger would have arrived at the exit of the throne room.

Since this stranger wasn't someone that was all that important to him, Naruto didn't take all the much time to examine the stranger and instead focused on the Daimyo who at the moment didn't look all that pleased with the outcome of his conversation. Though when the Fire Daimyo's eyes landed on Naruto and his son, some of the hostility within his eyes faded. Since Naruto now knew that the Daimyo wasn't upset with how he had entered the throne room without being called in, Naruto immediately started making his way towards the throne that the Daimyo sat upon.

As he grew closer to the ruler of the Land of Fire, the Fire Daimyo called out to both Naruto and Ryu. "Naruto! It is a pleasure to see you again...and Ryu, I am pleased that you have finally found the time to return home once more."

Though it could have been possible to take the Daimyo's words towards his son as ones that were filled with disappointment, Naruto could see a hint of a smile forming on the Daimyo's lips which told the blond Mage that the father and son were just as close as they were the last time he had seen them together. "It is a pleasure to see you again as well Daimyo. Ryu had informed me that you were wishing to see me so I came over as soon as I was able to." Naruto responded to the man that sat upon the throne.

"That is true, I have been wishing to speak to you for quite some time and now that I am able to; I am quite thrilled." the Fire Daimyo responded and though he paused for a moment, his words were flying out once more. "Five months ago, a new village sprouted up within the Land of Fire and though they didn't ask my permission to build within this land; they have done nothing to sway my anger. As such, I have mostly forgotten that the village exists but around three weeks ago; they called for my aid against foreign Ninja that have thought it wise to enter into my kingdom." the Fire Daimyo explained.

Even though Naruto could sympathize with a village that was just trying to get by, he wasn't sure that this had to do with him and was just about to voice this when the Daimyo started speaking once more. "The reason that I am telling you this is because I am wishing to hire you to go and give aid to this village and though I won't be sending you alone since Ryu will be going with you as a dignitary to the village while you are there; I am wanting you to know that you will be paid quite handsomely for this service that you provide to me as well as the village that could become new allies to the Land of Fire."

Hearing that the Daimyo had a job for him gave Naruto some sense of pride since the Daimyo must feel that he was up to the task at hand. Knowing that it would be foolish to turn down such an offer, Naruto decided that he would take the job that the Daimyo was offering him. "I will gladly take the job offer though you will have to give me some time to prepare for the journey to this village...I think three days would be enough time." Naruto informed the Fire Daimyo.

Thankful that he didn't have to try very hard to convince Naruto to take the job, the Fire Daimyo nodded his head to the words that Naruto had spoken. Seeing that the conversation between the two of them were complete, Naruto turned towards Ryu. "You may now introduce me to this individual." Naruto muttered out softly which meant that the Daimyo wasn't able to hear what Naruto had said to his son though since the ruler had no need to fear Naruto, he wasn't all that worried about the words Naruto had spoken to Ryu.
