Enter the Bone Village

Two Weeks Later 

Naruto swore to himself that once they got to the Bone Village and were able to settle there before starting their mission, he was going to place one of his sigils within the village. This way if he ever had to return, he wouldn't have to make the two week journey to travel there. "I knew that you would take the easy way out." Kurama chuckled as Naruto's thoughts collided with him.

"Would you shut it..." Naruto growled softly and though he meant to speak quieter than he did, this wasn't the case which meant that those that were travelling with him; heard what he said. Knowing that he made a mistake by chastising Kurama out loud, Naruto hurried himself to try and find a way to cover his mistake. "...I was just talking to myself!" Naruto called out and from the looks that passed between the two other Mages and the Celestial Spirits that accompanied them; Naruto knew that they didn't believe him though thankfully they said nothing to contradict him. 

Wanting to move past the mistake that he had just made, Naruto pushed to the front of the group so others wouldn't be able to notice the crimson that his face turned from the embarrassment that he was feeling. 

As he did this, Naruto's eyes moved ahead of him which allowed him to notice that a group of five Ninja were blocking the path before them. From the distance that Naruto and his team were from these Ninja, he was unable to see the village symbol that should have been etched on their headbands and as such; he decided to act as if they were enemies until proven otherwise. "Ryu, prepare yourself for battle..." Naruto mutter out to the male Mage that stood behind him before turning to give a command to Kamera as well. "...I know that you are still new to this and haven't had time to practice Kamera, but do what you can if the need for battle arises and make sure to stay alive." Naruto ordered the female Mage before taking a step forward. 

The moment that he did so, Naruto watched as all five Ninja pulled out weapons of their own which wasn't surprising to Naruto. "Who are you and what is your business in our territory?" one of the Ninja called out. 

"Your territory..." Naruto scoffed as he started pushing mana towards his hands though as he was doing this, he continued speaking to the Ninja before him. "...this country belongs to the Fire Daimyo though I guess since you claim this as your territory that must make you Leaf Ninja though since their village isn't anywhere near this part of the Land of Fire; I now have to assume that you are foreign Ninja that are planning a raid!" Naruto called back. 

Upon mentioning the Fire Daimyo, Naruto could see that some of the hostility within the Ninja dissipated which was clear from how a few of them sheathed their weapons. "We have no quarrel with the Fire Daimyo or the Ninja that serve him. Our villages happens to be nearby and with the recent attacks, we have been taking extra precautions." the same Ninja as before replied to the words that Naruto threw at them. 

Hearing this, Naruto now knew that these Ninja weren't enemies which gave him motivation to call off the Celestial Spirits that he knew were bristling for an attack. As he motioned for his people to calm down, Naruto spoke once more. "Then you must be Ninja from the Hidden Bone Village which means that we have business together since the Fire Daimyo has hired me to answer the call that you sent out for aid." 

Now that Naruto had given them the reason that they were near their village, the remaining Ninja that were still armed immediately sheathed their weapons which gave Naruto cause to have Ryu come forward. Motioning towards the other Mage with his hand, Naruto waited for him to arrive beside him. Once Naruto felt the other male's presence, his voice came rumbling across the path once more. "With me is the Crowned Prince of this land who was sent alongside me as a royal envoy of the Fire Daimyo." Naruto informed the Ninja.
