A Revised Opinion

The woman that had almost caused Naruto to slaughter one of the Ninja that serves the Bone Village was weeping beside the bed where he had placed Saken Kurosu. While Naruto's first meeting with the head of the Kurosu Clan hadn't been the most welcoming one, he still felt pity for her considering that she had almost lost her son.

Naruto wished to know what plan that Tonri was sure to be enacting at this very moment, he didn't wish to disturb the woman and instead thought that it would be best if he kept himself quiet so she could allow her to calm the storm of emotions that were rippling through her.

While this was the plan that Naruto had settled on, he was still slightly agitated that Tonri had already been crying for an hour which started to cause him to wonder how she hasn't dehydrated yet. As this worry mixed with his agitation started drifting around his mind, Tonri suddenly cut off the noise she was making and stood to her feet. When she turned to face Naruto, he saw an expression that caused slight fear to ripple within him considering that look of pure rage that now graced her and while this caused some fear to brew within him; Naruto was thankful that the anger wasn't directed at him.

"Thank you for saving my son Naruto..." Tonri growled out as she tried to force the rage that was burning through her to temper their flames. When the lines on her face began to lessen, Tonri began to speak once more. "...I would also like to apologize for the words that I said when you first arrived within the village. If you would have chosen to heed my words and leave the village then I would be burying my son instead of thanking you, for his rescue."

Knowing that it is difficult to for someone in power to apologize when they know they did wrong, Naruto was quite surprised to hear the words which started to cause him to think that he should revise his opinion on the older woman. The only acknowledgement that Naruto gave to Tonri's words was a slight nod of his head and considering that moments before he was wishing to know what Tonri would do to counter this attack on her son, he thought that this might be the best time for him to ask.

"How do you plan to respond to the attack on your son that was perpetuated by the Cloud?" Naruto inquired of Tonri and though he had only planned on asking about her counterattack, he suddenly became curious as to the reasons behind the Cloud's attack on the village. "Also, I would like to know the reasons behind the Cloud attacking your village?"

Tonri must have assumed that these questions would eventually be posed by the young blond that stood before her considering that she was immediately responding.

"My Clan used to wander the Elemental Nations performing assassinations for various villages and individuals throughout the world and while we have gained riches for these assassinations; I have grown tired of the constant travelling and considering that I have contacts within every village and nation I was able to convince two Cloud Ninja Clans to abandon their village and start one of our own." Tonri explained and since she had only answered one of Naruto's questions, she was quickly moving on to answer the other. "My current plan is the same that I have had since this war had started, to ensure that the Bone Village doesn't go extinct before we are truly able to make this village one that is known throughout the Elemental Nations."

While Naruto was satisfied with the first answer that he received, the same could not be said for the last and though he was about to inform Tonri of this; he felt a pull on the bond that he shared with his Celestial Spirits. Fearing that something had happened to one of his Celestial partners, Naruto was quickly making his exit from the room.

Hikaru stood before the unconscious form of the pink-haired banshee that he had been paired with. While he hadn't meant his strike to connect with her as hard as it did, he was still pleased with himself that he had been able to win. As he turned from Sakura's prone body, he spun his staff around in his hand before pushing a button on the side that caused the weapon to collapse in on itself where Hikaru was then able to hook it upon his belt.

Upon stepping back into the crowd of students that were waiting for their turn within the arena, Hikaru was quickly surrounded by two of his classmates who had become his closet friends within the village.

Both Shikamaru and Chouji  were patting him upon his back as well as throwing out as many words of congratulations that their young minds allowed them to come up with. Smiling at the antics of his friends, Hikaru was about to respond with thanks when Chouji suddenly pulled him into an embrace. During the embrace between the two, Chouji's hands slid across Hikaru's back which caused his skin to become riddled with goosebumps though this wasn't the only thing that occurred.

Deep within him, Hikaru began to hear a thumping sound which could only be originating from his heart. Feeling how his heart was reacting to the closeness of the chubbier male, Hikaru knew that the desire that he felt when he saw Chouji's state of undress during their fishing turned swimming excursion was one that wouldn't be going away anytime soon.

As the two boys were in their embrace, Hikaru heard a coughing noise which prompted him to swivel his eyes in the direction of the noise. This allowed him to see that the Ninja that oversaw their training was glaring at them and considering that he wasn't wishing to get on the bad side of the Chunin who was training him, Hikaru was quickly breaking free from Chouji's grip on his body so their teacher could continue their class.

Following the direction that his bond was telling him to go, Naruto found himself within what he assumed would become Honegakure's central hub of activity. Considering that there currently wasn't much to keep Naruto's attention, he was easily able to spot his Celestial Spirits though besides his Spirits; there was also another that stood beside them.

Quickly making the rest of the trek towards them, Talis, Asnos as well as Oreatina must have felt his arrival considering that they were turning towards him before he even announced himself. The other individual wasn't bonded with Naruto which is why they had to rely upon the Celestial Spirits to inform them of Naruto's arrival and when they did; Naruto was soon staring at Tara.

While Naruto was curious as to how Tara found herself spending time with his Celestial Spirits, he was still worried that something might have happened. The trickles of fear that he felt when his bond with his Spirits were first pulled upon only rose when he saw that Ryu, Kamera and their Celestial Spirits were nowhere to be found.

The moment that he came upon them, Naruto was throwing his voice into the world. "Talis! Is everything alright? You pulled on our bond and since I don't see either Ryu or Kamera..." Naruto called out as he arrived before them and while there was plenty more that he was wishing to relay, he was unable to do so considering Talis was interrupting him.

"As far as I know, everything is fine. To my knowledge, Ryu and Kamera are scouting the village to see if there is anything they can do to help." Talis explained which allowed Naruto to release the hold on the worry that had been plaguing him since their bond was pulled on. "I called on you because there is information that I believe you will be wishing to have. During my exploration of the forest, I located a few other camps like the one that you found the Kurosu boy."

This was exactly what Naruto needed to hear to begin formulating a plan that would allow him to run the Cloud from the Bone Village's territory.

"Follow me, I need you to pinpoint the exact locations of these camps, so we have a chance in this battle." Naruto instructed before turning from his Celestial Spirits and making his way towards the Council where he hoped to relay the information that Talis had just given him.
