His POV

And i kept crawling away from the cliff as i reached the edge of my life
I thought "It's my end today"
But then a subtle hand held me tight till the storm flew away

This is a tale of a girl in disguise
A mystery she was and i was the mystery solver
To know her everything was my only wish

She was the first cure to my "first disease"
Collecting and joining shards of my hurt heart from the scattered mess
We were both in a messed up life
Arranging each other was our only wish

She was the girl in disguise
Her identity was a mystery
Her name was anonymous and she lived in an uncharted valley

She used to meet me at the top of the hill
There was something different yet familiar which i could always feel

I used to ask her "Where you came from?"
And she would just smile and turn around

I used to ask her "Who are you?"
And she would say wink and reply "That's my top secret"

From behind her mask came a voice very familiar
But i was unsure if she just impersonated as her

She was the girl in disguise
Everyone told me to stay away from her
Because she wore a mask
But still i chased her without calling her fake
As her captivating tune strung my ear and she became my pied piper

On the way across the beautiful valley
I chased her through the dense dark forests of the hills
I fell from a waterfall
The waterfall was in my heart
And my blood became the glistening spring river with she being like fishes swimming in it

She came to me and giggled as she helped me stand again
She made my heart shiver when she became the rain
As days went by, the summer became monsoon
And this rain was now my friend

I told her the story of my first disease
And she often smirked while cheering up, wishing of stories how my first love will end up being with me

She told me that once she talked with my first love who gave her a nickname which had both of our name's first letter at the ends and only "L"ove in between

I had no idea why she was making me hopeful about "her"
I was bewildered and my mind blabbered in doubt if it's "her"
And i started dreaming of my killer becoming my healer

I tasted dishes of friendship from others
But her one was too tasty unlike others
With the rain everything else in my sight drowned
Only the rain drops glistened

She took me to a dreamland
Everytime i met her at the top of the hill
I wondered if it's all a daydream
Because of a magic of her wink?

People saw me going to that place where we met and talked about the trees and the sky
They kept warning me she's suspicious so i should stay away from her like all others
But i never listened anyone, even when i knew she was hiding a lie

In that river bank where we sat, i could see only my reflection in the water infront of her when she told me "You're my mirror image"

I even rejected someone who was my first lover
As my heart couldn't love anyone other than her

The girl in disguise decided to tell me her biggest secret
And that day came when my heart was full of suspense and an excitement beyond control
And then she finally,
Gathering her courage, said to me
"I love you.."

I was speechless, unable to speak a word
She was scared of being left
But my voice flew up high in the sky like a bird
Shattering her fear as it said "I love you too.."

We were so crazy for each other since long unknowingly
We found the first day when we were loved by the one whom we loved, she and me

She, like me, couldn't believe it was true
Words were only a few
But our feelings filled the world with a love-hue

I asked her with great emotions on my eyes "Since when..?"
And she answered "The day I saw you.."
I asked her with a great desperation for answers "What's.. your name..? Where are you from? I want to see your eyes.."
To which she replied "Let's enjoy this moment for now... Isn't it so beautiful?"

Although my heart was euphoric
There were countless questions in my mind
We believed we were lucky to find
Each other, that evening, as a rare asteroid passed by earth, which could be catastrophic.

The unforgettable day was memorable indeed
We were too happy to accept it
We enjoyed every moment in a sense of wholeness forgetting every bitter moment of our dark past

She asked "If i never tell you my identity, will you still love me?"
To which i replies "I already feel your identity existing within me"

She was too happy yet afraid for reasons not known to me
I was happy too but worried as the next night a nightmare approached me:
"I was standing with my face drowned in tears
And your hand going away from mine as your mother, of a different religion, in a never-returning train, forcibly took you away from me"
She told me it's just a dream "Don't worry..."

A few days passed in the newfound happiness and fear together
Which was far better than a happy life without each other
Yet she kept telling me to go away from her
She kept telling "You deserve someone better"

When she was scared of being left, she asked me to promise her,
So, I promised her "Even if i never get to know your identity, even if i never see you, i will always love you. You'll be my last love!"

The sky was all cloudy
Raindrops pouring love over us
I wondered how the drop falling over her soul touched me at the same time

Her soul hugged mine for the first and the last time
It spiked into me and my soul started bleeding love
