Alice
CRACK! I shot up, sitting in my bed. I drew my curtains open, so I could see where the noise came from. However, the room was dark. It must have been early in the morning since the sun hadn't come up yet.
I leaned over and grabbed my wand from my nightstand.
"Lumos," I whispered. A faint light grew from the tip of my wand. I moved the light around, trying to see what caused the noise. I shined the light in the centre of the room, and there stood a house-elf with big blue eyes.
"Hmm... whaz goin on?" My roommate slurred.
"Oh, nothing, Margret. Go back to sleep," I said, hoping she didn't see the elf.
"You are Ms Fortescue, correct?" The elf climbed onto the foot of my bed.
"Yes, Sir." I backed away, giving him room to stand.
He pulled out an envelope. "Master gave Acorn your letter. Did Mr Frank miss Acorn that much?" He asked.
"He did. He would ask every day for a month, wondering if I had found you yet." Acorns face brightened at my words.
"Acorn missed Mr Frank very much. Acorn didn't know Mr Frank wanted to see him. If Acorn knew, he would have talked to Mr Frank sooner," Acorn rambled, getting more distressed as he continued.
"Acorn, it's ok. Frank will be happy to see you." I placed my hand on top of his.
"Mr Frank is lucky to have Ms Fortescue as a friend." I smiled at his kind words. I was fortunate to have Frank in my life. Even if we were just friends right now, I couldn't be happier. It was the fact that I knew him, and he knew me; that's all that mattered to me.
"Acorn would like to see Mr Frank," He said.
"Ok, we can do that—" Before I could finish my sentence, a pulling sensation occurred. I felt as if my limps were pulled from every direction—my stomach folding within itself. My head spun. Luckily as fast as the feeling started, it stopped.
My knees buckled as my feet landed on the floor. We had apparated. My head didn't stop spinning, but a nauseous feeling crept in. Luckily this wasn't my first time apparating, or I indeed would have thrown up on the floor.
"What the—" An unknown deep voice started.
"Alice?" I looked up and found a half-asleep Andrew sitting in his bed. I'm in Andrews dorm, I panicked.
"Mr Frank!" Acorn squealed. My eyes widened. I didn't know Andrew and Frank shared a dorm. I turned as I watched Acorn jump onto a bed. There sat a perplexed Frank. He had crazy bed hair that made my heart skip a beat.
I suddenly became very aware of my nightgown and that I was in the centre of a room filled with boys.
The dress was a long light blue dress with thin straps. It showed more of my chest than I usually allowed. Once realising this, I quickly covered it with my hands. Andrew must have noticed my discomfort because he promptly walked over and placed a blanket over my shoulders. This allowed me to cover up better. Not to mention their dorm was absolutely freezing. "Ms Fortescue and I wanted to come to see you." All the boys in the room turned to look at me.
