THE SUN PEAKED THROUGH THE WINDOWS CAUSING ME TO OPEN MY EYES. I sat up and looked around the room, checking to see if anyone else was awake. Sadly, I was the only one. I didn't want to sit in bed and wait for them to get up. So, I slowly got out of the bed I had borrowed. I tiptoed and grabbed my clothes, and then headed out of the dorm room.

I decided I was going to quickly get new clothes from my dorm. It was relatively early so I didn't expect the girls to wake up soon.

I walked into the common room and found Frank sitting on the couch. He turned towards the sound of me coming down the stairs.

"You're up early," He smiled.

"I could say the same about you. What has you up this early in the morning?" I walked over and sat down on the couch next to him. Frank's eyes were fixated on the fire in front of him.

"Rita wanted a quick meeting."

My eyes widened, "Was I supposed to be there?"

"No, don't worry. It was just for Head Boy and Girl," He smiled. I let out a sigh of relief.

"How did the meeting go?" I asked. I crisscrossed my legs and turned my body to face Frank. I placed my clothes on my lap.

"Boring as usual. There wasn't really a reason for the meeting. She just wanted one."

"Sorry 'bout that. Meetings are the worst," I smiled. Frank turned to look at me in the eyes. He had the smallest smile on his face. Though its small shape it still held genuine happiness behind it. I couldn't help but smile back at him. Butterflies happily danced around my stomach.

"What are you doing up so early?" He asked.

"The sun woke me up. But I'm not complaining, there are only so many hours in a day and you've got to use every second of it. Right?" I smiled.

"Oh, so you're an early bird."

"Yeah. My parents hated it when I was younger. Always waking them as soon as the sun was up. They were probably very happy when I came to Hogwarts because they could finally sleep in," I chuckled, and he joined me. He had the nicest laugh. I could listen to it all day.

"My mum hates it when I sleep in too late. Say's I'm sleeping the day away," He laughed.

"I think my parents wish I could sleep the day away," We laughed harder at my comment. We then simmered down into a calming peace.

"What are your plans for this fine morning?"

"I was actually going to get ready before the rest of the girls wake up. They'll throw a nasty fit if they find out I left them," I said. Frank stood up and held out his hand.

"Well, let's go then. I've been on the other end of Lily's fits and let's just say I barely made it out alive," He smirked. I happily placed my hand on top of his. I got up from the couch, with slight help from Frank. I smiled at him. Lily's words played through my head, I think if you were to hold his hand or hug him longer than normal he wouldn't be opposed to it.
