"Make me yours," Taehyun started breathing heavily, "That's what the tattoo says."As if the cat got his tongue, Beomgyu gaped while looking at it in disbelief through the mirror. Then only he noticed a tiny silver piercing above it.
Okay, Taehyun was a lot sexier than he'd ever imagined.
"I–umm, I could never guess y–you had a tattoo... or even a piercing."
"Because I'm a nerd?" The scarlet-haired chuckled, his tone colder than usual, "Or I don't look cool enough to wear a tattoo?"
Beomgyu flinched at the bluntness. He'd never heard Taehyun talk that way.
"Why are you saying that way—"
"Isn't that what you really think of me?"
It was silent for a few seconds, an uncomfortable one at that. As the squelching surfaced from the room beside, Beomgyu shook his head and made the younger face him.
"Taehyun-ah, look at me." Beomgyu called when the male kept his gaze fixed to the ground. "I'm talking—"
"What?" He was cut off by a hurtful glare.
"Why are you behaving this way, Taehyun?"
"Me?" Taehyun chuckled. "You're the one who's been acting weird. Please go back to giving me looks of disgust, throwing rude comments because that's what I'm in your eyes. Stop showing meaningless affections, please!"
Right, rude Beomgyu was better. He didn't have to feel the palpitation of his heart so often. The last few days, he wanted it to pass by in peace without getting himself in an intangible situation, where he'd end up only hurt.
Beomgyu, confused, grabbed the younger's shoulders gently. "I thought we're okay. We even kissed—"
"The kisses you're always so eager to talk about..." Taehyun this time leveled his eyes with the older, making his breath hitch. "Those are mere kisses, hyung. You've done it with everyone you dated, even Yeonjun hyung, no? For you, those might have no significance but you even took away my first kiss without my permission."
But you kissed me back. Beomgyu gulped down the lump in his throat.
"You think just because I'm here for you, you can make me feel like a shit, then come and kiss me whenever you want. You think you own me because of the ridiculous amount of money you've thrown, right? Note it down, if it weren't for the respect of my work, I'd have left already."
Taehyun took deep breaths, calming himself down. He knew he was going overboard but he had no choice. He couldn't let himself dwell in any misconception, he couldn't bear getting his heart broken once again by Beomgyu.
Meanwhile, Beomgyu leaned forward to help hold up the younger by resting their foreheads together. He had no idea what he'd done so wrong for Taehyun to lash out on him, instead of explaining nicely like he always did.
It could be because of the way he'd dressed up; as he failed to keep it simple. It could be because of the pairs of eyes expecting Taehyun to fit into his world when younger has always rejected such demands in the previous days.
The words 'I'd have left already' were enough to pierce through his heart and he was ready to apologize for whatever his fault was when the frenzy beings of the other room had paused with their antics.
"Jjunie wait, I think there's someone in the next room." He momentarily heard Soobin say, and within a cough, the curtains were curled, revealing the two couples to each other.
The image in the other two's eyes were a bit different from what it truly was, Beomgyu knew; Taehyun in his half-unbuttoned shirt, both of them slicked in sweat and panting against each other. It would undoubtedly give the wrong idea to anyone, but he couldn't care less, instead wrapped his arms around Taehyun's waist to cover the tattoo and piercing.
