Beomgyu heaved a big sigh of relief once he was done hanging the picture on the wall, the board full of details beside it.
A smile of adoration broke into his face as he stared at his own work; Taehyun's smooth skin being kissed by the silvery rays of the moon, making him appear enthralling as ever while he was leaning against the car with his palms above the bonnet. His eyes shut, his red hair swaying, his lips curled up — all in a tranquillizing manner as he was breathing in the night's chilly air. Beomgyu had portrayed the exact moment when he realized his feelings for the younger, and everything was magic.
"I see that you've found your love."
Beomgyu turned around at Mr. Min's voice, the professor showing his gummy smile when he did so.
"Ohh? I thought I was supposed to be evaluated towards the ending? It's not even 5 yet." Beomgyu reminded his professor as he noticed the time, causing him to widen his gummy smile before leaning forward.
"You see, I'm your brother's friend so the least I can do for you is evaluate you as early as possible so you can go enjoy." He winked at the end before leaning back, clearing his throat like a professional he is before gesturing him to stand aside.
Beomgyu waited for him to look at it properly, every subtle nod made him happy and every little nose scrunch made him cautious but in the end Mr. Min had a knowing smile before turning to him. "You did a good job for sure, so it's safe to say I expect more from you."
The raven-haired displayed a big smile, then bowed a 90° to the man as he ruffled his hair, moving forward to another student.
Beomgyu stood back, he was done with the most tiring work for the semester, it felt as if a heavy burden was lifted off of his shoulders. He stretched a bit, now that he was done, he felt more energetic. Taking out his phone, he noticed there was quite a lot of time to kill before people started to flood in, meaning Taehyun would come then too. But then an idea popped up, the younger couldn't come to him now but he could go.
That's why he excitedly left the auditorium, and then the art building. He tried calling Taehyun but the younger didn't pick up. He had an urge to check on the university dorms because by these times together he'd realized that whenever in doubt about Taehyun's whereabouts, Hueningkai would be the solution.
The dorms were closer to the university anyway, so it wouldn't hurt checking there before he headed to his own apartment. And so, there he was in the dorm building lobby, asking the receptionist about Hueningkai and Soobin's dorm room.
"Second floor. Room 304." The student smiled as he bowed in gratitude before taking the flight of stairs. When he was on the second floor, he looked around to find the correct room before a familiar voice danced into his ears,
"Haha...that's great!!" Beomgyu turned around to find a door open, the plate read 304. So he happily skipped nearer.
"It's so amazing to see you guys ending up all mushy because of a fake website made by me. I genuinely thought we'd get caught sooner but he was actually that dumb to believe it was a real site where you pay a fucking huge amount and score yourself a date ahahhhahhhhaaa."
The happy smile faltered as Beomgyu took hesitant steps forward. It was Hueningkai for sure, but with whom and about whom? His eyebrows furrowed, his pulse raced as he tried to look into the room, making sure to make no noise that might alert them. He saw the mixed male's wavy hair over the big swivel chair he was sitting and working on his desktop; which displayed the 'My Ideal Type' website.
"But isn't it what he deserves? I mean, the library was the very place where he'd rejected you, and it's now the place where he himself asked you out. This is karma."
