Taehyun flopped on the bed as they entered the room, huffing when his back hit the bed.

"Tired?" Beomgyu smiled at the younger, sitting beside him to rub his hair. He laid back to face Taehyun. "You should freshen up and go to bed then."

The ceremony ended late, which explained why everyone had to go to their room at 3 AM, looking like ghosts and some even drunk ghosts. Beomgyu was lucky enough to avoid drinking, using the excuse that he had to stay sober because he was the best man. But he felt bad for Soobin who had an overly clingy Yeonjun all over him, although he's pretty sure that the taller loved it.

"Hey, don't sleep just like that!" Beomgyu poked Taehyun's cheek, pouting when the younger didn't reply. He noticed Taehyun didn't even take off anything. So Beomgyu shook his head before reaching to undo his shoes, and then he carefully took off his tie but he paused while considering removing his jacket. He gulped, then slowly brought his hands closer and right the moment he was about to touch, his wrists were grabbed by the younger.

Taehyun jolted awake, staring at the older as his face started to redden.

Beomgyu pressed his lips in a thin line, feeling the urge to explain that he wasn't trying anything funny. "Taehyun I wasn't—"

"You g-go freshen up first." Taehyun suddenly sat up, avoiding his gaze, pulling the jacket more to himself.

"But—"

"No, it's okay, it really is." He shook his with an assuring smile so Beomgyu wouldn't get the wrong idea. "You go first, then I will."

The older blinked in confusion, Taehyun was acting weird again. But it wasn't the bad kind where he'd get told off or get the cold shoulder, so he guessed he could let it pass and shrugged, getting off the bed to fetch some clothes from his cupboard to head to the bathroom.

Taehyun bit his lips, looking at the bathroom door just to make sure Beomgyu wouldn't walk out suddenly. And when he heard the shower running, he let out a deep sigh of relief, flopping back on the bed.

Heavy breathing intensified when he reached the inside pocket of his jacket and pulled out the string of the packets, embarrassment coursing through his whole body as he remembered the evening earlier;

"Sitting alone, huh?" Taehyun looked up at the voice, becoming fidgety at the sight of the pink-haired male.

"Oh no, don't bother." Yeonjun gestured Taehyun to be seated. He took a seat beside the younger on the bar stand, waving to the bartender and as soon as he was served the best alcohol, he'd slugged down three shots already.
Taehyun blinked at the older, it was amusing yet heart-wrenching to him how Beomgyu and Yeonjun were so similar—loved drinking, rich, carefree— to the point where it was starting to make him rethink why they'd parted.

He knew Yeonjun now had a boyfriend whom he truly loved but he couldn't stop wondering what if he didn't have Soobin. Wouldn't Yeonjun be back to Beomgyu by now if he saw him with Taehyun?

Selfish much but Taehyun was pretty glad that didn't happen.

Yeonjun noticed the creases on the younger's forehead which gave away the waves of his deep thoughts. He chuckled, mixing a drink in another shot glass before offering it to him with a clink against the table.

"Uhh, I'm sorry. I don't drink." Taehyun quietly responded.

"Relax, I've poured only a little percentage of the actual alcohol. Soobin told me that you're not a drinker so don't worry, I'm not going to let you get shit-faced or something but you can get a taste or so." Yeonjun assured before devouring another of his strong shots. Oh, what a day it was to be wasted and then get attended by an exhausted Soobin! He was becoming all mushy by even thinking about it.
