The Power of Three Part 3

As Wendy was finishing getting dressed, Wendy noticed that the cube on her desk now had a blue light, Wendy walked over to it and tried to pick it up, she received a sharp prick to her hand and what appeared to be her blood sugar levels showed up.

Wendy picked up her phone and called her mum as she ran downstairs, "Mum, get all of the cubes out of the house! Stay inside, I'll sort it, but they've become active. Just keep them out, OK." Wendy told her Mum, then immediately hung up as she yelled, "Doctor! The cube decided to take my blood sugar levels." 

"The cube upstairs just spiked me and took my pulse!" Amy said as she ran down the stairs behind her sister.

"Ha! Really? Mine fired laser bolts and now it's surfing the net." The Doctor told them.

Brian walked into the house while saying "You're never going to believe this. My cube just moved. It rattled." 

Rory's phone started ringing as the Doctor laughed, "Hello?" Rory spoke into the phone.

"OK, I'm on my way." Rory said.

"I have to get to work, they need all the help they can get." Rory told the group.

"Let me come, help out." Brian offered.

"Take your dad to work night, brilliant! OK, you're going to be all right here?" Rory asked Amy, who nodded her head and said "Keep away from the cubes."

Wendy felt a vibration from her back pocket, which was where she had placed her phone, she unlocked her phone and saw she had a text message from Kate, "Err, guys. We're wanted at the Tower of London." Wendy said.

What Wendy was not expecting was a U.N.I.T vehicle in front of the house, waiting for them to get into. What Wendy was also not expecting was Greg driving the car, "Get in. We're finally being used." He said as the three got into the car, Wendy in the front passenger seat.

"That sounds wrong on so many levels." Wendy told her friend.

"Yeah, but still, instead of sitting around staring at cubes all day, we get to actually do something. I love when there's a world ending threat." Greg exclaimed. 

Wendy shook her head and said, "Again, that's just wrong."

"Not like the world ending bit, but, you know, the actually doing something. Which just so happens to be when there's a world ending threat."

Once they were at the Tower of London, Kate greeted them and as she led them through the Tower, she explained, "Every cube, across the world, activated at the same moment."

"Secret base beneath the Tower. Hope we're not here cos we know too much." Amy said.

"Yes, I've got officers trained in beheading. Also ravens of death." Kate told them.
