Humans, particularly fragile compared to zombies. I can't tell if I'm better or weaker than either side.

Diane, being the first one out of the showers (and the only one who knew exactly where everything was), went into the kitchen and turned on the stove.

Normally she'd eat raw everything. The raw pork chops, steak, tostones. All of it didn't matter really if it was cooked especially since she didn't have time to actually make it because she was continuously clearing the place.

However, the living beings with an actual biology can't exactly eat raw food. Well, without repercussions.

At least she had the spices and materials to cook it. Mother and father dearest both cooked well, Diane had learned from the best.

The pans sizzled with multiple pork chops, seasoned beforehand while the tostones were frying in the oil.

"I can smell the food from here so now I really hope we're going the right way." Quackity said, somewhere in the hallways. Him and his companion were close to the cafeteria while Diane smiled at the supposed compliment.

"Diane! What the hell are you doing?" Karl said. Big Q ran over to her while Karl walked.

"Is that chuletas?" Quackity said in surprise and hope.

"Um, yeah. I didn't know what kind of meat you guys wanted so I went with chuletas."

"You guys mean, pork chops?" Karl grabbed a handle on one of the pans, pointing at the meat.

"Karl, Karl, beloved. Chuletas mean pork chops in Spanish." Quackity put his hands on Karl's shoulders as he talked.

"Oh. Well, what's that?" Karl pointed at the oil as it popped. Making him scream and flinch back.

Quackity laughed while Diane looked at the tostones and immediately banged her head on the counter.

"I should've actually asked if you guys wanted tostones. I don't think most of you even know what it is!" Diane cringed as Quackity raised his hand.

"It's fine, I know what tostones is. Also, should you even be cooking right now? Your… cut? Your thigh isn't even wrapped." He gestured to the wound.

"Oh, yeah. I mean, it doesn't affect the food so-"

"Yeah, no-no-no. Go wrap it up while I… and Karl, finish the food."

"Yeah, shoo! Shoo!" Karl basically pushed her out of the kitchen while she scoffed.

Walking… well, limping towards the door nearest to the cafeteria.

Timeskip brought to you by Karl screaming cause the oil got him again as soon as Diane came back.

"What the hell is this?" Tommy nicked a piece of tostones against the dish it was on.

"I totally forgot about the culture difference and ended up making a lot of it. Don't remind me." Diane placed a plate of pork chops, almost built like a tower as everybody reached out to grab.

Another free for all as Diane laughed.

"Guys, guys. I'm gonna get the other plate. Don't hurt yourselves." Giggling as she walked away.

"What if we play Uno?" Wilbur questioned, looking at everybody at the table. Few laying down on the blankets away and most at the table, half were standing.

'I'm terrible at Uno' Diane thought, grabbing the plate and coming back around with it.

"Diane~" Tubbo whined. "Do you have any board games? We're bored." His head layed on the table while his arms were spread out on the table as well.
