People have problems with just about everything and anything. Some people could have a problem with drinking, a problem with children. Some people could be dumb enough to have a problem with something as small as a butterfly.

(~’'’~)

Two weeks went by and even George, who got the worst of it, was walking around once again. He couldn't do anything crazy, like running but he was awake and well… enough.

One night, Schlatt brought a whole bottle of whiskey and let's just say that everybody else did not disagree.

A multitude of alcohol came into the party, courtesy of a secret stashed that was probably stocked by a former employee.

Wilbur and Fundy did shots with straight tequila while Eret and Sapnap were talking, their words slurring. Niki and Dream were laughing most of the time at almost anything. They were probably laughing at Techno who got drunk on the first drink and kept yelling for Phil to look out whenever any of the minors came close to him.

The children of the group had gotten a bottle of whiskey that was only filled up to a third of it until Tommy poured them all a shot. They were gathered on the roof with a blanket underneath them and a few pillows.

"Alright boys, first time drinking the old alcohola, let's fucking do this!" Tommy hyped up Ranboo and Tubbo while Diane was leaning on the railing since she said, "No thanks, my taste buds apparently hate alcohol no matter what drink I mix it with. Plus, I'm probably gonna get drunk off of the fumes anyway."

She cheered them on as they raised their three small shot glasses in the air, making them clink before they all quickly brought the cup to their mouth and the liquid burned down their throat.

They all coughed and dropped the glasses onto the blanket while Ranboo ran up to the railing to barf, Tubbo was trying to get the taste out by drinking water and Tommy was laughing through the burning sensation in his mouth.

Diane giggled at their misfortune and patted Ranboo on the back before guiding him back to the only soft part of the roof.

They all talked for a while. Tommy talked about how he'll probably never drink in his life ever again but anybody could tell that he wanted to feel that slight buzz it gave him as his words slurred the tiniest bit.

Tubbo seemed serious about not drinking while Ranboo shrugged. Diane admitted that her mouth or even just her tongue couldn't handle the heat of alcohol so she could probably never drink again due to newfound health reasons anyway.

Tubbo and Ranboo had fallen asleep, almost taking up all the space even though Ranboo had a third of his body on the hard cement instead of the blanket.

Diane was doing what she always did when she couldn't sleep and looked at the moon.

She used to look at the stars if there weren't any clouds whenever she had to take out the trash.

Back then before all of this, she'd procrastinate and end up rolling out the trash bins when it was dark out but it wasn't the worst.

She would love to look at the stars again. The small specks of light dust among the midnight sky, but it was as if somebody sweeped it all away and left the one thing that didn't look like dust.

Her eyes couldn't see the small lights in the sky anymore. She was using her glasses from before the apocalypse and she definitely needed a higher prescription but it's not like there was an eye doctor just ready to give an eye exam and get new glasses.
