Almost the starting of February, love is portrayed in more ways than one with both men and women. I know people who love even in this hellhole and they’re the best.

"Guys, I'm really sorry but you guys gotta stay here."
Immediate complaining started with Diane trying to keep it down. She got scared at the volume they yelled at.
“Guys, guys! Shut up-shut up! Be quiet, you can’t yell here!” She seemed scared and that got most of them to be quiet. Her distress told them that it’s for a reason.
“It’s only so I can make sure it’s safe to come in. Give me 15 minutes, at most!”
Eret being the closest to Diane looked back to the others and back to her.
“10 minutes.”
“10 min-!?”
“10. Minutes.”
Eret persisted as Diane sighed and nodded.
“Fine. Just… try to stay out here.”
She went inside and disappeared from the light of the sun as all they could hear were growls. They couldn’t see inside so they couldn’t see if it was Diane growling or something else.
Literally as soon as he heard a growl. Schlatt called out.
“Diane?” No answer. Only sound was a louder growl fueled by hunger.
“That’s it.” Schlatt didn’t like not knowing if she was okay or dead so he got closer to the darkness.
“Diane-!” He screamed as a decayed face peeked through right in his face.
It growled and screeched at them but didn’t get closer.
That didn’t stop Eret from threatening to shoot until it got pulled back into the darkness. It disappeared for a second and Diane came out a little pissed.
“Why’d you have to scream? I thought-” She sighed to calm herself while Phil was confused.
“Is this mall not clear of zombies?” A pretty smart question, not to Diane who was trying to figure out exactly how to explain the situation.
“Of course it’s clear! Those zombies are defenses. Like, hell I would lead you idiots into a zombie filled building.”
“Hey!”
Since they obviously couldn’t handle staying outside without the youngest person there, Diane decided to risk it and take them inside. It’d be better than leaving them alone.
“When we get inside, you guys can’t, I’m looking at you Sapnap, you can’t insult or hit me in any way until we’re clear. Not even playfully.”
“Why-?”
“Don’t fire your guns and stay close to me.”
“Diane-!”
“And don’t yell or talk.” She started walking into the abyss. “Just whisper.”
Without a proper explanation, the others were skeptical but afraid to lose sight of her, they ended up following Diane into the pitch black.

“Can you see?” Tommy was honestly scared shitless right now as he went down to Diane’s level, holding her wrist and almost using her as a shield.
“Not at all, my eyes can’t adapt very well.”
“Then where are we going?!” Fundy whisper-yelled.
