Surviving Bucky

Avenger's Headquarters

Mya had managed to pack all her things into a duffle bag and suitcase, when she lived her life on the run she couldn't always carry a lot with her. No make up, no hair straightener, nothing extra that could slow her down.

Bucky carried her suitcase in through the main doors, the bottom level was empty but she could see that the others were upstairs in the middle of a meeting.

"Are they talking about me?" she asked.

"Maybe, but I promise you that they are okay with you staying here until I help you get your employer off your back," Bucky squeezed her hand as he gave her a reassuring smile.

"So where will I be staying?" Bucky motioned with his head for her to follow her over to the elevator.

"The first level is just for show, second level is where we have our lab, our technicians, engineers, and have our meetings. Third floor is for training purposes, and fourth floor is where everyone sleeps and stays. Tony lives with Pepper in the city and Bruce has his own apartment in the countryside, he likes being alone. Thor comes and goes as he pleases. So the ones who stay more permanently is myself, Nat, Wanda, and Steve."

"I've never had so many roommates before," Mya said with a teasing smile. They rode the elevator upstairs as it came to a halt on the fourth floor. Bucky stepped out first as Mya followed him to the end of the hallway where he opened the door to her room.

The room was so large and spacious, it was three times the size of the apartment where she was staying at.

"Wow all of this is for me?" she dropped her duffle bag on the floor as she let herself fall back against the bed.

"I mean, you might have to share it with me as well...."

"Why you don't you get your own room?" Mya said teasingly as leaned up and winked at him. Bucky smiled at her as he walked over and climbed on top of the bed, right over her so he was pinning her down. 

"And what if I want to come in here and stay with you from time to time."

"I don't know... I may have you work for it." Mya leaned up and kissed him, Bucky slid his tongue into her mouth as he ran his hand up under her shirt and grabbing a handful of her breast.

Mya shivered from how cold his hand was. There were those dangerous hands again, his thumbs running over her nipples to become painfully hard underneath the thin fabric.

"Bucky, you didn't even close the door."

"Everyone is in a meeting right now," he leaned down and kissed her neck and gently bit it as she moaned into his ear.

"Actually we just finished up," Tony stood by the door with his arms crossed and he looked annoyed.

"Oh my God Stark, can't you knock," Bucky moved his body so he was hiding Mya and her red face. She covered her mouth with her hand to keep from giggling from embarrassment. 

"Well seeing as one I own the building, and two you left the door open, it didn't occur to me to knock no." 

Mya crawled out from under Bucky as she stood up and stretched out her hand to Tony.

"Hi, I am Mya. Thank you so much for letting me stay here."

"Um... I'm not sure if I want to shake your hand just yet, I don't know where it's been."

"Oh my God, Tony!" Bucky yelled, Mya's face turned bright red as she shook her head.

"Well the team is waiting to meet you, if you wouldn't mind following me," Mya shook her head at Bucky as she followed Tony out of the room and down the stairs to the conference room.

"All right everyone, this is Mya ..."

"Um I'm sorry there's not last name. Well none that I know of anyways."

"Okayyyyyy, anyways, Barnes came to me and Steve and asked us to help her out until we can figure out why SHEILD is trying to look for her. So Mya No Last Name, this right here is James, Natasha, Steve, Sam, Vision, and Wanda. And vice versa."

"Do you know why SHEILD is after you?" Steve asked as he looked over at Bucky, noticing that he looked annoyed.

"I was one of their top agents there, but when I started asking questions about my spotty memory they decided I needed to be eliminated. Instead of just letting me collect unemployment," Mya gave a weak laugh at her joke, which only Bucky smiled.

"I like her, she's funny," Nat said as she stood up and shook her hand," Whatever I can do to help, let me know."

"Thank you I really appreciate that, I'm sorry to just drop in like this on you guys. I know you have far important things to do."

"Well If it is true that you're ex SHEILD you maybe an asset to us on our missions, that is if you really want to help and not just suck face with Barnes." Tony said as he gave an innocent smile. Mya could feel her face grow hot and red.

"Well I think that is my cue to go," Mya turned around and walked out of the room as fast as she could. 

"Are you serious right now, Stark?" She head Bucky yell in the room as she walked up the steps. She felt someone behind her and turned around to see Vision and Wanda standing behind her.

"I didn't mean to startle you," Vision said as he held up his hands in peace," I understand sometimes Mr. Stark has an odd sense of humor but he really does mean well."

"Yeah I can see that," Mya gave a weak smile.

"Well Vision and I are in the room down the hall from you, if you need help finding anything, or even a girl to chat with, I am here," Wanda squeezed Mya's shoulder, she looked up at Vision as he nodded his head. They both walked away to their bedroom as Mya walked into hers and decided to lock the door. The last thing she wanted was people here to talk bad about Bucky after everything he has done for her.

She slipped out of her clothes and pulled on her pajamas. 

She finally crawled in her large humongous bed that had 20 pillows and fell asleep, and for once, she wasn't worried about who would come barging in through the door.
