I'm Your Mother

"You cannot go looking around the city for Loki! You're 8 months pregnant!" Bucky yelled at Mya as she was changing out of her dress into a pair of jeans and a oversized v neck shirt.

"You are not going to tell me what to do, James. He took this girl from her family and is now holding her hostage somewhere and it's all my fault. So if you want to follow me you can. Either way, I'm going!"

"OH my God stop screaming, you two sound like you're in a soap opera all the time," Tony yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Mya grabbed her jacket as she walked, more like waddled, down the stairs.

"If we all go we can keep Mya safe," Nat said as she crossed her arms and winked at Mya. God she loved that woman.

"We can't go on a mission and be worried about Mya's safety as well," Steve shook his head as he pointed at Mya.

"Look. I am not asking to tag along. I am going regardless who isn't okay with it. This is my daughter he kidnapped, I am going to get her back to her family. She's only 3 years old. She is terrified and it's all my fault."

"No its not Mya. It's my fault," Nick stepped out from behind Tony as he walked up to Mya.

"Nick no it's not...."

"Yes it is, because if hadn't interfered with your relationship with Loki this wouldn't of happened."

"It would of happened regardless. My brother has always had issues and what you humans call daddy problems,"Thor propped his feet up on Mya's coffee table, which she knocked off with her foot.

"Where do we start?" Wanda asked as she paced the room.

"We will split up, some of us will check Loki's estate, the others will track his scepter, and the other two will stay home by the phone. Any volunteers? Bucky? Mya?" Tony suggested, but Mya only rolled her eyes at him.

"I am going Tony."

All of a sudden Thor jumped up from the couch as he looked towards the ceiling.

"He's in Asgard."

"How do you know?" Tony asked him.

"I just know. We need to hurry before he changes location again. Everyone hold onto one another and come close," Thor pulled everyone closely, Nat holding onto Wanda, Tony holding Thor and Bruce's hand, and Bucky wrapping his arms around Mya.

"Please babe, don't go being a hero," Bucky whispered to her.

"I can't make that promise," she said softly as she kissed him. Thor then called out to Heimdal as the big bifrost bridge opened and transported them to Asgard.
Mya lost her footing, she was nauseous from the ride up there.

"Are you fine babe?" Bucky came up behind her as he placed a hand on her back.

"I'm fine, let's go get him."

Everyone was on their guard as they walked through Asgard, not knowing what to expect.

"My mother will know where Loki is, follow me,"Thor said, Steve and Bucky walked off with him as Bucky turned around and gave Mya a reassuring smile.

"I need to sit down, I'm feeling lightheaded," Mya said as she walked with Wanda and Nat.
"Sit down for a minute, I'll see if I can find you some water," Nat ran off into the kingdom as she left Wanda with Mya. Nat came back empty handed and with a weird smile on her face.

"Couldn't find the water?" Wanda asked as she walked towards her, Nat touched Wanda's forehead with her hand as Wanda fainted in front of her. Nat then turned to look at Mya as she turned back into Loki.

"Loki what the fuck are you doing?!" Mya yelled as she held her stomach, she bumped into a Boulder as Loki cornered her.

"Why I went for my daughter, the one you gave away."

"Fuck you Loki, you know it wasn't like that."

"Then what was it? You think I wouldn't find out that Thor took my memories as well. Well the white witch gave them back to me and I remember everything!" Loki's throat was thick with emotion as he looked down at Mya.

"Please Loki.... don't hurt her." Loki scoffed as he gave her a dirty look.

"You think I'd hurt my own daughter? I'm trying to save her! Save her from a life of mediocrity, a life as a simple mortal. We were supposed to save her together! But Fury had me locked away so you would think I abandoned you!"

"I knew what he had done!"

"You..... you knew?" Lokis eyes got glassy, Mya licked her lips as she sat down.

"I knew what he had done, but he was trying to save me. He didn't know at the time I was pregnant, when I told him he begged me to keep the baby, but I couldn't.  What we had was toxic and was going to be the downfall of us all. I saved you and her!"

"You selfish midgardian! I loved you with everything I had! Look at what I did for us!" He reached out towards Mya as he placed a hand on her belly.  But she wretched her body away as if his touch had burned her.

"This baby is not yours! She is mine! You but a block on my memories and raped me! I had no control of my body! Like everything else you have done you just came and took what you wanted because you're some almighty God!" Mya spat the last word out, Loki shook his head in disbelief.

"You don't deserve me. And you don't deserve her," Loki picked up his scepter as he pointed at Mya. But she didn't flinch away or back down, she closed her eyes waiting for the impact.

She heard a loud thud as Thor and Steve grabbed Loki from behind.  Thor hitting him with chains that wrapped around his body.

"Take him away!" Thor yelled at the guards as they dragged Loki away, Loki never taking his eyes off of Mya. Mya broke their glance as she saw Bucky walking over with a small child wrapped in a blanket. Oh God. She looked just like Loki.

"Are you taking me back to my mommy and daddy?" The small toddler asked Mya. Bucky set her down as Mya held out her hand to the small girl.

"No sweetheart, your mommy and daddy had to go help with a secret mission. So I'll be taking care of you for awhile."

"Who are you?"

I'm your mother. Mya wanted to say the words so badly but she couldn't.

"Just call me Mya."
