"Mama Mya can I please have some more cheerios?" Emily asked Mya as she brought her an empty bowl. A few weeks had gone by since they had saved Emily from Loki is Asgard. She had just turned 3 years old and didn't fully understand what had happened with her adoptive parents. She just understood Mya and Bucky were taking care of her now. So she called Mya Mama Mya and Bucky Daddy Buck.
"But I'm almost done cooking the pasta," Bucky said as he leaned over so he was eye level with Emily.
"I don't like your pasta," Emily said bluntly as she hugged Mya's leg. Mya stroked the top of her head as she smiled and shrugged her shoulders at Bucky.
"Ouch you hurt my feelings," Bucky grabbed his chest as he fell on the ground dramatically. Emily started laughing as she fell ontop of Bucky, he began to tickle her and picked her up. Myas chest got tight as she felt guilty for giving her up in the first place. There was a knock at the front door as Nat and Steve walked in.
"Aunt Nat!" Emily went running up to her as Nat scooped her in her arms and tossed her in the air.
"How's my favorite girl?" Nat kissed her temple as Emily squeezed her.
"I'm suptastic!"
"What's that?" Mya asked as she rubbed her very large belly.
"It's a cross between super fantastic, but it's kind of our thing. Right bug?"
"Right!" Emily giggled as she covered her mouth.
"So I guess I must be invisible now since I don't get any hugs or kisses," Steve said as he walked around looking at the ceiling.
"Uncle Steve I'm down here!" Emily jumped out of Nats arms as she tugged at Steve's coat.
"OH there you are, I guess it was just me," he said as he began to tickle Emily.
"Hey Steve how about we take Emily outside to the lake to catch fireflies?" Bucky said as he turned off the stove.
"That's a great idea, what do you say Em?"
"Yay!" Steve placed her on his shoulders as they walked outside. Bucky leaned down and kissed Mya on the lips as he and Steve walked out. Nat smiled as she walked over to Mya and sat down across from her.
"How are ya feeling baby mama?"

"Besides humongous? I am doing really well."
"And how is Emily?"
"Nat I was so scared she was going to hate me, but she's adjusting. Nick looked into the adoptive family and they had no other relatives. No one has asked for her. I think this is my second chance to make things right."
" I'm so happy for you." Nat reached over and gave Mya's hand a squeeze.
"Thanks Nat. I wouldn't of made it this far without you. You're my best friend," Mya saw Nats eyes get glassy as she looked away and smiled.
"Come on, don't get all soft on me. Come on let's go catch fireflies," Nat walked around the counter as she helped Mya up and they walked out to the cool dark night.
"What..... what is that?" Mya asked in a shaky breath.

" I don't know, let's go find out," Nat smiled at her as they walked over to the tree. Bucky and Steve were standing right underneath it, they had hung up hundreds of lights and placed candles around the wooden bench. Emily was bouncing around happy saying how pretty it looked.
"What is this Bucky?" Mya asked, her breathe uneven and her body clenching.
"I wanted to surprise you with it, and also this," Bucky got down on one knee as he pulled out a small diamond ring with a rose band.
"OH my God, Bucky...."
"I love you so much. I wanted to do this the day after I met you, but I didn't want to scare you off. After everything we've been through, the good and the bad. I can't imagine doing it with anyone else but you." Mya had tears rolling down her face as she smiled at him.
"Mya will you marry me?" Bucky said, Mya reached for his hand. Bucky took her hand as he stood up.
"OF course I will marry you Bucky," she said softly, Bucky leaned down and kissed her, rolling his lips over hers.
"Ewww they're kissing again," Emily said as she buried her face in Steve's leg.
"Umm, Mya, you're bleeding, " Nat said carefully. Everyone turned to see Myas pants were stained with dark red. She looked up at Bucky, scared.
"Bucky somethings wrong....." were the last words Mya said before she passed out into Buckys arms.
