When the car rolled up to the Swan residence, Theresa couldn't believe her eyes.

Theresa was expecting Charlie to be mad, hell furious even, but what she wasn't expecting was a welcome home consisting of police cars and search dogs.

The two teenage girls watched as Charlie went back and forth from ordering people around to answering them on his walkie-talkie.

"You ready for this?" Bella asked Theresa, who shook her head, "No, I'm not" Theresa said truthfully, looking at her cousin with fear in her eyes. She was scared that Charlie wouldn't want her anymore or that someone had told him what had happened in the psych ward. Theresa's eyes began to water as every bad scenario ran through her head. Bella noticed this, taking Theresa's hand into her own and gripping it a little tighter than usual, gaining the girl's attention.

"Whatever happens," Bella said as Theresa looked at her, "We go through it-" She said, cut off by a dog barking, "Together."

"Chief!" An officer yelled, holding back a search dog that was barking at the two girls. Charlie's head whipped around, looking at the officer, only to see the officer looking and the dog barking at his two girls.

"Bella! Tess!" He yelled, running over to the two and before they could even take another step, his arms were wrapped around them both.

"You're so stupid. I love you both, but you're so damn stupid" Charlie said as he hugged the girls tighter, if that was even possible, before pulling away from the hug and looking at the two.

"Dad we're-" Bella said, but was cut off by Charlie, "Sorry? Yeah, I thought you would say that. But you're both still grounded for" The Chief of Police stood still for a second, thinking, before continuing to speak, "Forever."

"Understandable," Bella said as Charlie nodded before looking at the two girls once more and hugging them again.

"Don't ever do that to me again," He said, pulling away from the hug, "You hear me?" He asked as the two teenage girls nodded in unison, "Yes."

"Now go inside, both of you" Charlie ordered the two girls before giving them one last hug and walking away to tell everyone to go home.

Bella was the first to walk into the house, Theresa trailing behind her.

Theresa smiled as the screen door shut behind her. She didn't realize how much she considered Forks home until she walked back into the home.

Theresa ran up the steps to her room. She opened the door to her room and smiled, happy to see all of her belongings where she had left them. She ran into the room and jumped onto the bed. She sighed in relief as she felt the comfort of her bed and not one of those old hospital beds.

Her happiness quickly faded though as she sat back up, realizing how complicated her life was about to be.

The Cullen's were back, but that changed nothing. In Theresa's mind, she was still alone. The Cullen's were no longer her family the second they left. And Jasper, that was a while different situation.

Theresa rubbed her eyes, sighing. She fell back on the bed, her back hitting the mattress. Theresa looked at the ceiling as her mind ran wild with thoughts of Jasper. She craved to hear his voice, to be next to him, to touch him, but she couldn't because she couldn't forgive him, not yet at least.

Theresa grabbed a pillow, bringing it to her face and screaming into it. Her thoughts of Jasper faded away as she let out her emotions by screaming into the pillow.

Theresa threw the pillow to the ground, letting out a breath of air. She turned to her night and, turned off the light before getting under the covers and trying to go to sleep.

But even as Theresa's eyes closed, Jasper Whitlock Hale never left her mind.
