When I got outside and sat under a tree I felt a tap on my shoulder

I looked up to see Shawn I just looked back to my book that I've read many times. I don't like rereading. But every time I read "Perks Of Being A Wallflower" is like reading it for the first time again

Anyway. Shawn sits next to me.

"Hey um" he starts "you know that project is due on Thursday. If you want to work on it soon" he says.

"Yeah um. Sure" I say

"How about after school" he suggest "library?" He finishes

I just nod my head and I look at my book.

He tried to say something else but he ended up not and just left.

*END OF SCHOOL*

Bell rang and I got my things and went to my locker

Shawn met up with me then

"Hi" he said with a charming smile

I think I said hi back

"Sketch want me to take you home?" Jr. Came from nowhere

"Um. No it's ok. I'm going to do a project with Shawn at the library" I said

"Okay" he said and when Shawn looked away and smirked at me making a heart shape with his hands and I gave him a deadly look

We were 20 minutes into the project-when I heard a book fall near the table Shawn and I were sitting. He didn't notice but I did

"Shit" a person muttered

"Shawn" I said "yeah" he said. "I'll be back hold up" I said and went to an aisle.

"The fuck are you doing here" I asked

"Oh. Hehe. Hi".

"Junior....."

"I was just making sure nothing else was happening lil one" he said

"Don't you worry about it" I said

"Fine I'll leave. I'm hungry." He said and left.

I went back to Shawn and he smiled at me

"What did junior say" he said

"Oh. You saw" I said

"I think everyone in here did" he said

I just smile shyly

"Yeah he's pretty over protective" I say like if I have hair in my mouth

"He's a cool guy you know" he said

"Yeah. He is" i say

I pack up my stuff

"Glad we could finish the project early" I said

"Yeah. Now we're done" he said and I nod "hey you need a ride home" he says

"Um no I'm fine thank you" I say

"It's getting dark" he says

"I could walk"

"You live in a rough neighborhood" he says

"Okay" I sigh

He takes me home.

"Want the aux cord?" He asks

"Um. Ok" I say

I play Beyoncé FLAWLESS

"Nice choice" he said smiling I think he wanted to kinda laugh

"You mean the queen? Of course you need to play the queen" I say and he laughs

He drops me off at home and I thank him and he waits for me to go inside until he left.

"Hi mom." I say closing the door behind me

She stops what she's doing in the kitchen and stares at me

"Where have you been" she asked sternly

"School, mom" I said

"You never called or text me that you were coming home late" she said

"I'm sorry mom I needed to finish a project and-"

"I DONT EVER WANT YOU TO BE LATE AGAIN UNDERSTOOD" she cut me off by yelling

"Mom it's ok I'm here now you don't need to get mad" I say

"Go get ready for dinner your father is coming in 5 minutes" she said and I left.
