Sketch POV

I wake up at 5:00 as my usual weekday. I make coffee for my dad take a shower and put on a blue shirt with captain Americas shield on it. I tuck in the shirt in to my jeans.

I put on my warn out Chuck Taylor's and comb out my long brown hair. I put on my gray sweater since it was cold. I put on my cubed shaped glasses and grab my back pack.

I grabbed an apple and left the house with my brother and mom.

My mom dropped me off at my brothers elementary like usual and I walked to my school from there eating my apple.

"SKETCH" I hear a familiar voice behind me

I didn't want to turn because I couldn't careless who would be calling. Me

"SKETCH" I heard the voice closer until that person had a hand on my shoulder.

I turn my head to see shawn smiling.

"Hey" I sighed

"Hi. So um when can we work on the project again" he asks me

"Um. I can't today I have a promise with someone." I say

"What are you doing walking in this neighborhood. I mean no offense" he says

"My mom drops me off at the elementary with my little brother" I explain

"Cool so you walk by here" he smiles

I look down at my shoes walking.

"But don't worry on the project I can take care of it" I say

"Why do you keep saying that? it's a PARTNER project" saying partner louder in the sentence

"Well I can't tomorrow either because I have a family thing" I sigh

"Yeah me too. I'm going to my new neighbors house with my family" he says softly

"But what time would you be done with your thing today" he asks

"Um 4:30" I say hoping he isn't going to want to do the project at my house

We finally get to the school

"Okay." Is all he says

"Okay bye" I said speed walking away from him

"Sooooo" Elena says coming in the newspaper room

"So what?" I ask confused

She rolls her eyes " the date silly"

"Date?"

"Yes with shawn" she says like it's obvious

"It was not a date don't ever repeat that" I say

"Okay. But what happened" she asks

"We just did the project that's all" I say

"Wow. No detAil. Geez" she says

"That's all that happened" I say

"Well" she sighs "are you busy after school?" she asks

"Your going to get mad" I sigh

"You have plans" Elena says

"I promised Ethan I would take him to the park and play basketball if he got 100% on his spelling test" I explain

"Really? spelling test? he's in kindergarten what does he need to spell? cat?!?" she says

"In fact. Yes." I say

She rolls her eyes "fine" she groans.

After that period it was lunch and we walked together and eventually her going to her friends.

I sigh and go to my locker getting my sketch book and pencil. I've been working on this drawing of a garden for a week but I want it to be the best.

I sigh and sit on the floor in front of my locker. Kids would walk passed me with there friends. Giving me weird looks probably why I was alone.

"Hey. Watcha doing" I hear a familiar voice and it's shawn. He sits next to me and his friend Aaron on my other side.

"That's cool" Aaron says

"Um thanks" I say quietly flipping the page to a clean non marked side.

"Why are you alone" shawn asks

"Oh. I have friends. Um. They're in the bathroom. They're coming. They j-just left" I lie looking at the blank page

"Oh. Okay. Then" shawn says awkwardly

I lift up my glasses from slipping off my nose

"You guys can go with your friends. No need to waste your time with me" I say smiling awkwardly

"Well-" I cut off shawn by getting up

"I-i see my friends. I-I g-got to go" I lie again leaving
