Kito's POV
soon i approached the huge gate outside of U.A. this is when my nerves started to kick in, but if I want to be able to save people then i need to be able to set aside my own fears.

other students began to slightly crowd around the doors. i looked around at all the people i would be attending with. some seemed like they knew other people while some were alone. we all piled inside and attempted to find our way around the building. i was looking for class 1-A.

after what felt like walking in circles forever, we stood outside a room with a tall door that was labeled "1-A" i mentally prepared myself. i had gotten this far. all i had to do was go inside.

i anxiously stepped into the classroom. there were already a few students inside. one had what looked like engines coming out of his legs, another had a half-bird looking thing coming out of their body. i saw a boy who had similar looking hair to Bakugou's but red and spikier. i took a seat next to the redhead with Bakugou on the other side. a few other people walked into the room and began to find a seat. in front of me sat another boy but he had half red and half white hair, behind me was a girl, she was very... pink. everyone at this point was either sitting quietly at their desk or talking to people near them.

the chatter continued as a man walked into the room wrapped in a sleeping bag.

"quiet down now." he spoke as the bag unzipped and he stepped out. this is our teacher? a pro hero? and he seriously walks in in a sleeping bag as his first impression. everyone's heads snapped forwards and appeared to have the same reaction as me. it clicked in my classmate's heads that this was our teacher and the room went dead silent.

"hello class, my name is Mr.Aizawa, also known as pro hero Eraser head, I will also be your homeroom teacher." he spoke. "attending this school will be different than any other school you've gone to, with that being said, change into these and meet me outside." he told us as he placed a stack of blue uniforms on his desk.

everyone grabbed one and neatly walked over to the changing rooms. i tucked myself into one of the back corners for a little more privacy. i then attempted to change quickly which between the speed and nervousness I ended up falling on my face.

my cheeks turned bright red as i hoped no one saw me. i quickly got up and zipped up my uniform. A girl with short brown hair came over to me,

"hey are you okay?" she spoke quietly. I almost died of embarrassment right there.

"oh uhm yeah i'm fine" i nervously laughed and put my regular school uniform into my bag.

"alright, im Ochaco, Uraraka." she smiled as she introduced herself.

"Okada, Kito" I said, returning her gentle smile.

together we all began to walk outside to the training grounds. i'm not sure that i knew what to expect. the boys met up with us there and we stood waiting for our teacher to speak.

Mr.Aizawa emerged from his sleeping bag and explained what we would be doing. he said, "today we will be having a Quirk Apprehension Test, this will help test the abilities of your quirks since you were not able to use them in middle school." everyone seemed excited to be able to show off their quirk. "the student with the lowest score will be, expelled." he said calmly. this intense on the first day?

"the first test you will participate in, in a 50-meter dash. quirks are allowed to enhance your mobility."

so right off the bat we are starting with endurance and speed. luckily i've been working on those the most. once it was my turn to go, i placed my front foot behind the line. my quirk doesn't have much effect on my ability to run. once sensei said go, i ran as fast as my body could carry me.

"Okada. 6.02 seconds." the pro-hero spoke. i nodded my head and returned back to the group. not the fastest but NOT the slowest.

next test would be, grip strength, followed by a standing long jump. both of which i did poorly on. i will train more and train harder.

the last test we would do, is a ball throw. this is something i could actually use my quirk for. i waiting until it was time for me to go up, and gave the ball a good toss. it didn't matter how hard i initially threw it. i was able to use my telekinesis, like quirk to bring the ball into the sky. just like my new friend, Ochaco, i scored infinity.

lastly, it was Midoriya's turn. as he went to throw his pitch, suddenly the ball dropped. everyone looked around to see what was going on. apparently sensei had erased Midoriya's quirk. from what i heard of their conversation, it was because he had no control of his quirk. at least i'm ahead of someone.

at the end of it all, Aizawa revealed that none of us would be expelled. followed by a warning that just because he didn't this time, doesn't mean he won't in the future.

we all rushed back into our respective locker rooms and changed into our typical school attire. before all making our way into our homeroom. now we would engage in "normal" school activities. we spent a minute just getting to know eachother before jumping into typical academics.

the rest of the day was calmer. no more use of quirks, due to being in normal classes. this feels like a normal high school, but not. everyone here feels overwhelmingly better then me. hopefully we all learn to grow better together.
