Chapter Twenty-two

Kyle's part of vision.

It hurts.

I was hit by a bullet. Someone wants me dead. Someone took my car and left. I fell in those rocks.

My body hurts.

I have lost a lot of blood.

After this spell I came back here.

I need to find Silvia.

I miss her.

Back there she told me that her name was Kira Kim. I might be able to find her.

My consciousness is slipping away slowly.

Someone is coming through the water.

I may be in danger.

*Phew*

She sighed. Maybe she is hiding.

The woman noticed me and came closer. She sat besides me and observed me carefully.

My blurry vision only allowed me to remember her silver hair and violet eyes. Unique colours.

She saw the blood and bit her lip nervously. I heard her dress rip and felt the fabric carefully bandage my wounds.

She isn't a threat to me.

She lifted me up and went to the forest.

Where is she taking me?

I grabbed her sleeve and with all my strength I said

"Help"

My voice was barely getting out.

She said something.

I can't hear.

I let my head rest on her left shoulder.

Her body is skinny yet her shoulder was very comfortable.

...

I opened my eyes when we reached to the hospital. She was trembling from exhaustion.

I'm really grateful.

I could only hear muffled sounds.

A doctor said
"You are lucky young man... She got you here on time."

I feel like I owe her my life.

...

I feel a gentle hand stroking my hair. What a nostalgic feeling...

I miss Silvia.

I miss our children...

It's morning already. I am in a hospital room and a woman is holding my hand. She is sleeping on the bed side.

She must have been tired.

How did she find me?

Why was she there?

The woman opened her eyes. A pair of violet eyes. Her hair are dry. Silver strands keep hiding her face.

This face seems familiar.

Who is she exactly?

She looked at me and got startled.

She was about to leave when I grabbed her wrist.

She turned around and blushed.

I need to return the favour. She saved me after all.

"What's your name?"
