Raven's POV
"Too late for that, brother," Thor emerged from the giant wall of dust.
"Thor... what are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Well, Heimdall told me that there were two Asgardians messing about on Midgard. Father also found out about it and told me to come and collect Loki, and leave Raven here as she is no longer welcome in Asgard."
He grabbed Loki and started walking towards his hammer.
"But sledgehammer you cant leave me here. My home is Asgard you prick. If you take Loki with you then I'm coming too," I felt my magic start to rage again.
I had just finished fighting the Hulk. He should be proud. I was stronger. I could fight. Why was he taking Loki away from me.
I saw Bruce sneak away, I wished me and Loki could do that. Thor ruined everything. He didn't have to come to Earth. He could've lied. He could've let me and Loki be happy. Thor must be jealous. He couldn't let Loki be happy. But if he was jealous why would he hurt me? What did I do to him? This shouldn't be Thor's business.
"Sledgehammer, I bought you biscuits. For what? For you to just throw me away. Take my best friend away from me. Take my home away from me?" I clenched my jaw. I needed to control the anger.
Thor looked at me apologetically but that didn't help anything. Couldn't Odin just let it slide.
"Darling, darling, you need to calm down," Loki grabbed face, forcing me to look at him. "Please, Raven calm down, it'll be okay I promise."
"He. Ruined. Everything." How could Loki just accept this?
I was furious. For 6 years I was on Asgard. 6 years. That just goes down the drain. What kind of bullshit is this?
"You," I said turning to Thor, my veins started to glow.
"Raven-" He begun.
"Ruined."
"Darling stop!" Loki pleaded. I pushed him aside. He couldn't get hurt. Just Thor.
"Everything." I smiled at him before strangling him with a wave of water.
It felt good. I was in control. Finally.
I threw him into the air with all my strength. Mjolnir was on the floor so I covered it in a dome of poisonous air, making sure the dome was strong enough so the hammer couldn't break it. I kept him in the air. I was going to torture him.
Fire, the second strongest element. I burnt off his precious blonde locks. I watched his face look in horror at the goddess I was becoming. His hair was just the beginning. I then moved onto his hands. 4th degree burns would be enough. His scream was satisfying. The pain he was causing me shot all the way through my magic and onto him.
I looked at Loki. He was watching Thor and then he turned to me. I saw the hurt in his eyes. There was pain. It confused me.
I realised that I was torturing his brother. Who he loves. I immediately dropped Thor and put water on his hands. What had I done? I wasn't in control, I was a monster.
Loki's POV
Her mood had quickly changed. She even had tears in her eyes. I ran over to Thor as he dropped from the sky and made sure he was okay.
"My word, these burns are tragic. Raven, wait you can help fix this," I said as Raven started to walk away.
"Brother I think she's done enough," Thor grunted.
"He's right Loki. I- I can't control myself. I'm sorry but- I don't know what's happening to me," she started panicking and fell to the floor, looking at her hands.
There wasn't much I could do to help Thor, the advanced healing would kick in soon anyways. I ran over to Raven and peered into her mind. Her thoughts were spiralling, there were so many different things running through her head. I had to keep out as it was giving me a headache.
I knelt down next to her and cradled her. She shifted her weight onto me and cried as I stroked her hair. I hated seeing her like this, it reminded me of the mess I was. I tried to think about what made me feel better, what I needed the most. That's what I'd give to her.
"Darling, look at me," I whisper to her. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes. "Everything happens for a reason, the people you meet, the places you see. It wasn't just a coincidence when we bumped into each other in the treasure room. It was meant to be. We've known each other for 6 years, and you are the best thing that's ever going to happen to me and there's nothing that could change that. You are, as you say, the 'baddest bitch' I know. You made a mistake, a fixable one. So you're going to wipe those pretty grey eyes and learn from today and anyways you're powers were incredible."
I gave her a soft kiss on the lips as she smiled. I peeked into her mind for the last time and instead of seeing a mess, I saw us. I saw every single happy moment we spent together flicking through her mind.
"Brother we best get going," Thor interrupted.
I was still in Ravens mind and her thoughts started going off track again.
"Can't we just stay here," Raven whispered.
"I'm afraid not and we probably wont see each other for a while. So promise me one thing," I said.
"What?"
"When we next see each other, I want you to marry me."
