Ravens POV
"What did you need to tell me about?" I asked Strange.
"The Chitauri are back but this time they have teamed with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Steve," he said.
Memories of New York washed over me like a wave on Los Angeles beach. The fighting, the betrayal, the anger but more importantly the lesson that everyone learnt.
"What's the next plan of action?"
"We ambush them. A surprise attack when they won't expect it will be best. They have no idea about the wizards and witches, the only problem is that they've had longer to prepare," he said.
Me and Strange parted ways and I rounded everyone into the training hall. It was clear they weren't ready but there was no way that we could afford to lose.
"We have a slight change of plan," I said.
Their faces quickly dropped as the wizards all looked confused and whispered amongst themselves. I knew this was going to be the worst thing they had ever heard.
"It turns out we need to ambush Steve in order to have the upper hand. His army is getting stronger and larger by the minute so we need to think fast while we still have our heads."
Darling, do you think they're ready? I heard Loki's voice in my head.
Not one bit, I replied.
I looked at him awkwardly and tried to give a reassuring smile.
"When do we leave?" A boy spoke up.
"Tonight," Strange said, appearing from those golden transportation devices.
"How will we all sneak in though?" the boy asked.
"Me, Wong and the other sorcerers will use our Sling Rings to open up a gateway to their hideout. The Asgardians will enter first, then Stark and his team, then Raven and Loki and finally you guys and the rest. It will all work out."
"I need you all to get ready for tonight, wear dark colours, dragonhide preferably. You all have rooms to wash yourselves and get changed so I suggest you use them. Especially you Hermione. I can smell you from here," I said.

"Raven, are you crazy?" Loki said, following me into our room.
"A little, yes."
"These wizards aren't ready to go into battle yet. Have you any idea what the Chitauri are like?"
"Well duh, last time I checked I was alive with you when the New York incident happened," I rolled my eyes. "Anyways we need to get ready."
I turned on the shower and started wetting my hair as Loki slipped in. He quickly grabbed the bottle of shampoo and washed my hair for me.
"What did you do to Hermione earlier?" He asked.
"I have no idea, it just happened. I was focussing on her eyes and poof I'm in her mind," I muttered.
I felt kind of bad but at the same time she gets on my nerves so much that I was glad I did it.
"Well I know your mother can't do anything like that but I have a feeling she has someone who can," he said thoughtfully.
"What do you know," I spun to face him.
"A lot more than you do, by the looks of it," he smirked.
I closed my eyes and focused on the water from the showerhead, manoeuvring the water between my fingers. My eyes jolted open, making contact with Loki and his emerald green eyes became washed with blue and just like that, I was in his mind.
I looked around and their were doors, many doors. They each had labels of different events, such as when he was under the Chitauri spell, when he was in a coma and as my eyes scanned each door I found the right one.
As I opened the door, I could see a woman. She had brown hair, with a tint of red and I could feel the chaos magic rippling through her veins.
"Witch..." A voice whispered.
I closed my eyes and reopened them to find myself back in the shower staring at Loki.
"Incredible..." he muttered.
"We need to get dressed."

"Eleven o'clock at night and we aren't in bed. I think this is a record," Loki whispered, putting his arm around me as we walked to the ambush point.
"I definitely think we've stayed up later than that," I laughed.
"Yes but we've never been outside past this time," he winked.
I smiled as we kept walking, the silhouette of hundreds of people in black cloaks huddled together. It looked like a ritual was about to take place.
"As soon as the Sling Rings start to light up, you must all be silent. Walk through the circle and you will find yourselves in Steve's warehouse where they are training," Strange instructed.
Golden circles lit up in the sky and everyone started flooding through, maintaining the silence. It was exciting, getting the chance to finally prove that I could do something.
I carefully walked through the ring, gripping onto Loki's arm. It felt weird being here. There were no guards or no sign of humanity. It was like this place never had any habitants.
"Does this feel weird to you?" I whispered to Loki.
"Well not really, we're ambushing them so they should have no idea we're here," he whispered back.
I nodded and crept up towards the wall of the warehouse.
"Care for a lift, Prince Loki?" I asked, offering my hand to him.
"Of course, Lady Raven," his large hand encased mine like a glove.
I created a vine which lifted us up to the balcony looking thing on the top floor of the building. The fun was just about to begin.
