There is some Russian in this chapter and its just from google translate so correct me if I'm wrong. My sincerest apologies for the last chapter, hope you all recover quickly :)
Bucky's POV
I watched Raven scream. I think it was the first time I had ever seen so much pain filled inside of her. Nat pulled her away from Loki and hugged her, and that was when I realised the thorns which had grown on the vines.
The dome was filled with the tears of Raven, I had no idea what to do or how I could help her. It hurt watching her cry. It hurt even more that it was Nat comforting her and not me. They had this bond, which made them inseparable and I wanted it to be me. It sounded selfish but I couldn't help it. She was my best friend. Mine.
"Harry went inside, you guys are safe," Draco whispered.
I watched as the vines slowly untangled and the thorns retracted. Watching Ravens powers strengthen was one of the most fascinating things. My memories were starting to come back and I could vaguely remember meeting her for the first time. The flashbacks were broken and mainly came in my dreams. Sometimes I prefer considering them as nightmares.
Nat quickly excused herself to freshen up, leaving me with Draco and Raven. Draco focussed more on Loki rather than Raven, I guess that was my job.
"Doll, come here," I said, and Raven snuggled into my arms.
"Tell me if my arm starts hurting you, I can't trust it these days," I told her.
"You could never hurt me Buckaroo," she said, looking up at me.
I stroked her hair for a while and I'm pretty sure she fell asleep. I made sure to keep still, she needed the sleep. Nat came back out and sat back down next to us.
"ласка said Loki's asleep and he needs to be in his home to wake," I told Nat. ласка was a cute nickname me and her came up with for Draco. It meant weasel.
"At least he's alive. I don't think птица would be able to handle a lot more," she said. (the bird)
Raven's POV
I woke up in Bucky's arms, Nat was still there and Draco and Harry were nowhere to be seen. My head was pounding and it took me a second to realise that Loki was still dead. I felt myself sink back into Buckys arms as I began to tear up.
"Doll, he's still alive. He just needs to go to Asgard to get better," Bucky whispered to me.
"Wh-what he's alive?"
"Yes doll, but for him to wake up, we need to bring him to Asgard," he said.
I felt some hope inside of me. Loki was alive, but at what cost? Would he change? Would he forget everything that had happened? Would he forget me?
We all stood up and Bucky picked Loki up. We connected hands as I summoned Heimdall to open the Bifrost.
𓆙𓆙
"Raven, Natasha, Bucky, welcome to Asgard," Heimdall greeted us.
I saw his facial expression alter when he saw Loki in Bucky's arms, but he didn't seem to ask. He probably knew about it anyways. We made our way towards the golden castle, so that we could find one of the nurses.
Nat and Bucky were both in awe of the realm. I forgot that they had never been in Asgard before and it brought back the memories of when I first arrived here too. We walked quickly through the halls and soon enough we found a nurse in the medical room.
"What happened to him?" The head nurse asked.
"A spell which caused immense pain," I told her.
They seemed to know what they were doing, as they most certainly fucking should. We watched the nurse and her team get to work. They put him in a bed and started giving him these herbal remedies and layering cream on his skin.
"This will help the pain when he wakes up, but for him to actually wake up we need to fight magic, with magic," the nurse said.
The door opened and Frigga walked in. She looked perfect as always and as soon as she saw me, she gave me a hug. It had been forever since I had seen Frigga. Or it felt like it at least. Her eyes shifted to Loki and her face immediately dropped.
"I am going to have to ask you all to leave. I work at my best alone, it'll all work out in the end, I promise, dear," Frigga said turning to me.
"How will I know when he's awake?" I asked.
"Trust me, you'll know," she smiled reassuringly.
I trusted her. A lot. And this was her son we were healing, so she wouldn't do anything to hurt him even more. All three of us left the room and let Frigga get to work. I showed Bucky and Nat around the palace.
"Why is everything gold here?" Bucky asked.
"So you know how when Thor likes a particular drink, he throws the cup and shouts 'another!'?" I asked them.
"Yeah."
"Well, after Loki started doing it, all the glasses were breaking and stuff so they replaced it with gold so it wouldn't break as easily."
They both smiled and we carried on walking. It was once again a nice day in Asgard, it always was. I took the two Russians to the training grounds and we met Sif there.
"Hey sis," she said.
"Uhh hey," I smiled awkwardly. It was weird thinking that she had absolutely no fucking clue about my real family, and I also didn't want to tell her. God knows what she'd do to me. I think the only reason I'm still alive is that she didn't want to kill her family.
"Sif, this is Bucky and Nat. They are my best friends and we are also looking for something to do. Care for a fight?" I smiled.
"Of course. Metal arm first," she smirked.
I watched as they fought each other. Neither of them holding back. Watching Sif and Buckaroo was mesmerizing. It was like a dance routine. It didn't take long for Sif to beat Bucky though, I think that was the first time I had seen Bucky lose a fight.
"My turn," Nat said, jumping off the bench.
This fight was a lot more about agility more than strength. I knew how both of them fought and I also knew how similar they both are to one another. Both were quick, strong and very well-trained. The fight was intense but Nat won after pinning Sif on the ground. Honestly, I thought they were going to make out right there and then.
"You going to fight me next Raven?" She asked me.
"No, I need to speak to Tony on Earth but you guys feel free to stay here. I think its a bit mean considering we abruptly left in the morning and disappeared," I told them. They waved goodbye and I walked towards the Bifrost.
"Leaving so soon?" Heimdall asked.
"I need to speak to Tony," I explained.
"Of course," he smiled.
I entered the Bifrost and I was taken to the new compound. It was very modern and big. There wasn't the huge 'Stark' on it, instead it was just an 'A'. I suppose that would be more inclusive. I made my way inside and I was kindly greeted by Jarvis letting me in.
I made my way to the third floor, hoping that Stark would be in there but to my surprise he wasn't. Instead it was the fossil himself.
"Hello Raven," he smirked.
"I am not in the mood for you right now old man," I warned him.
He quickly stepped in front of me and stuck a needle into my arm.
"What the fuck was in that?" I asked him.
"I just temporarily took your powers away. With no Loki, or Bucky, or Nat to save you, I can do whatever I want to you and get away with it," he whispered into my ear.
