Loki's POV

"LOKI GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE," I heard Raven scream from the other end of the room. She's turning into Thor, my word.

All these years later and she's still my best friend. Her powers are stronger, a lot in fact. Turns out she could control all the elements. And they're even becoming as strong as me.

"I'm coming my darling, hold on," I was just trying to read my new book. Finishing the page, I leapt of the couch to see what she was screaming at.

"Raven, where are you?" I shouted.

Unbelievable. Are we really going to play that Midgardian game where I had to find her. "If you don't get over here this very instance, only Heimdall will know what is going to happen when I find you." This game is boring now. For 7 years we have been playing this. It was fun at first, don't get me wrong, but not now we were older.

I heard a giggle at my words. She could tell I was irritated and that just made my desire even more strong. All of a sudden I felt water droplets on my head. As I sense movement behind me, I turn and see her chuckling at my wet hair. I swear she made me crazy.

I walked over to her, water dripping off my face whilst she's laughing away at me. I got up to her and grabbed her neck. Her face drops.

"That's right, my pet, who's in charge now?" I smirked as I look at her been so vulnerable against my strength. She tried to push my hand off her as I pushed her up against the wall.

"Not you that's for sure," she giggles as a wave of water shoots into my face. My hand dropped as I wiped my eyes and she quickly moved away, smirking.

"So its going to be like this now," I created an illusion to make it seem like I'm stepping towards her.

"I guess so," she formed a gale of wind hitting me and my illusion. I needed to be smarter. I shifted myself before she can see, into a dog. Raven wouldn't hurt a Labrador would she?

"Loki that's not fair," she said, unimpressed. I shifted back to normal and she immediately sent a line of fire my way.

I dodged it by a millisecond and created another illusion. This time I would surrender to her and admit my defeat but instead creep behind her.

"My dear, you have won. You have grown more powerful than me," my illusion said. By the look on her face it seemed to be working.

"Well finally. You know how much I've been training my powers for fights like these," she said. I could tell she was tired now. Being a halfling, she only had half the amount of strength and ability others had. "It was a close one I must admit, but I need to go see Sif and the others," she stated, to my illusion.

She starts walking towards the door quicker than usual. Raven turned to look at me. Not my illusion, me. I see her fingers twist and it starts to rain on me again. She starts chuckling to herself and walked out.

"I most definitely win," she winks as she leaves.

Raven's POV

I knew his tricks. Loki could be very predictable at times. His biggest weakness was his arrogance. I do actually need to see Sif first. I needed to see if she could ask Thor to let me go to Midgard. The crusty dusty dinosaur, Odin, is always apparently busy and I know him and Thor are a lot closer.

I made my way to the dining hall and Thor and his friends are as drunk as ever. I was pretty good friends with all of them. We weren't as close as me and Loki but I'm cool with that.

The smell of food hit my nostrils and I soon realised how hungry I was. I grabbed some bread and other things and made my way weaving past people. By the time I reached the table my food was gone and I didn't even remember eating it all.

"Raven you're here!" Thor was definitely the most drunk. He couldn't stay upright and he seemed a lot more louder (if that's even possible).

"Hey sledgehammer, hey guys," I replied gesturing to the others around the table. "Fix-it-Felix is it possible for me to go to Midgard anytime soon?"

"Well of course, just go to Heimdall," he said in confusion. These people seriously had not watched Wreck-it-Ralph? Anyways, I don't really fancy seeing Heimdall after what happened with Loki, I wonder if Heimdall would bring it up. I hope not, that would just be embarrassing.

Sif came over and we greeted each other. You would think that because we're step sisters we'd be quite close but we had very different mindsets. She's all about Thor and fighting with body strength. Whereas I preferred to read and practise magic. Plus I had the better sense of humour.

I stayed with them for a bit, they are quite fun but when I'm there for too long I did get lonely because of how different I am to them. I had a few drinks, not by choice of course, Sledgehammer just gave me a drink and I didn't want to be rude. Afterwards, I wished them goodnight and made my way to my bedroom. It was peaceful at night. I prefer it.

I laid in bed creating scenarios about people. It can be quite fun most times. Until I think of something I don't like. I sunk into my sheets and the next thing I knew it was morning.
