Raven's POV
"That's enough," Loki stormed in.
All eyes were diverted to Loki's murderous glare. I watched Steve's face twitch in slight fear. He had made me and Loki both very annoyed.
"I did warn you," Thor said, leaning back into the sofa. Everyone watched Steve, they were all waiting for someone to say something.
"How did you uh- get out?" Steve asked.
"I beg your pardon?" Loki started to laugh, "I think that's the least of your concerns at this point in time. You should be more worried about the karma you will receive for insulting my fiancée," he spat.
I felt Loki's hand snake around my waist and I leaned closer into him, smirking. Steve looked at me in disbelief.
"You? And him? Really Raven? You could have chosen anybody in the entire universe because you have the looks, and you chose him? You chose... a-a monster," Steve bursted out laughing.
Loki's gripped tightened and I looked up at him. I saw the pain in his eyes, a scared little boy.
"Loki, come on let's go," I whispered.
"Absolutely not. You are the one person who truly loves me and that being has just insulted you. It's absurd, and he can't get away with it, my dear. I won't let him, and you shouldn't either," he whispered back.
"You're right," I mumbled.
"Steve I'm going to give you let's say 2.37 seconds to start running before those two go after you," Tony said.
"It's okay, I've beaten Raven before and all Loki can do is create illusions," he smirked.
"Duplication casting actually," Loki corrected Steve.
"They're the same thing," Steve said.
"They're really not though, two completely different things in fact," Bruce spoke up.
"How?" Steve said looking at Bruce.
"Illusion projection involves depicting a detailed image from outside oneself which is perceptible in the external world whereas duplication casting entails recreating an exact facsimile of one's own body in its present circumstance which acts as a true holographic mirror of its molecular structure," Tony said.
Everyone turned to face him with surprised looks and Bruce just shrugged.
"Its quite simple, in my eyes," he mumbled.
I took the opportunity to splash with some water. Steve's knuckles went white with rage and I grabbed Loki's wrist and pulled him out the room.
"Let's get the sceptre and go," I whispered.
"That's my darling," he smirked.
"Follow me."
We ran towards the stair and slid down the railing to save time. The lift would be too basic and obvious. We made it to the floor where the sceptre was being held and I let Loki go ahead. His fingers glided along the golden handle, being extremely careful. I watched his eyes change a different shade of blue, it was like ice.
"Are you ready, my dear?" He said as his helmet appeared onto his head.
"Lets do this motherfucker," I replied, taking is arm. "Wait, wait we need a catchphrase," I added.
"Like what?" He asked.
"How about 4lifers?" I giggled.
"I like it," he smiled, "now lets get out of here shall we."
𓆙𓆙
We snuck back into the garage and I drove to Loki's warehouse. It was more like a cave but it was still pretty cool. The R35 made the experience all the more better. I drove into the cave and looked around and saw many people. They all had the same blue eyes as Loki. It was pretty freaky.
"Why does everyone have the same eyes as you Loki?" I asked him.
"Because they all have a heart, my darling. And I am their ruler," he whispered.
I had realised that Loki was still brainwashed, but deep down he was still there because he hadn't brainwashed her. A man with a bow walked over and looked weirdly at me before turning to Loki and updating him on some plan.
"The Chitauri are ready and waiting," he said.
"Yes, I know, thank you Clint," he said and Clint left.
His name sounded oddly familiar. He wore the same kind of outfit as Nat too. There had to be a connection there. Nat did mention Loki taking one of her friends when they first met. Could that have be him?
"Who are the Chitauri?" I asked Loki.
"They are my army. We will rule Midgard together, darling," he whispered.
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of being in power, having a whole planet in my hands. It would be even better having Loki by my side. We had missed so much time when Thor took him away from me.
My thoughts drifted to the Avengers or, the super secret boyband as Tony calls it. They would most likely be getting ready to try and stop Loki. They wouldn't be able to. He was getting stronger by the minute.
"Raven? You there? We need to get ready for our fight," Loki jolted me out of my daydream.
"What fight? How long have I got?"
"I'd say about 13 minutes, its at Stark Tower," he informed me with a smirk on his face.
"I- Okay, I'll go get on my suit," I quickly said making a dash for the car.
I was glad I put my suit in there. I just wondered why Loki was targeting the tower though. That was my new home, it could've been his too. Although he probably would've preferred to live in Asgard. I wouldn't mind living there either.
I quickly put on my suit and placed my dress, heels and jewellery carefully on the back seat. My long hair was starting to annoy me, so I put it into a loose ponytail. Clint came up to me, and asked if I was ready.
"Yes but this may seem weird but, do you know a Natasha?" I said.
"N-Natasha?" His eyes flickered into a darker blue, replacing the sharp icy tone.
"What happened to your eyes," I whispered.
"Who the hell are you?" He said grabbing an arrow from his quiver.
"I'm Raven, but you didn't answer my question. Do you know a Natasha?" I repeated.
"Well of course, she's family."
"Oh shit," I muttered, "You need to get out of here immediately. Go to the Stark Tower and check up on her for me. Don't bother talking to Capsicle though, nobody likes him," I whispered, giving him the keys to a jeep which I found.
"I- Thank you, stay safe though. He's not the same as you may have known him," he thanked me again before slowly getting in the car.
I knew it was betraying Loki, but I couldn't help but feel bad for him, Nat was my best friend after all. She seemed pretty torn up about losing Clint. She needed him.
"What happened to Clint?" Loki came up to me.
"He went to set up," I mumbled.
"Okay darling," he kissed me. It felt different, it was more rough and less him.
We hopped into the R35 and this time he drove, I spent the whole car ride looking out the window. This was so fucking insane. I would be fighting against my friends and with a mind controlled Loki.
