Thor's POV
"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother," I told them.
"He killed 80 people in two days," the redheaded recited, not making eye contact.
"He's adopted," I added.
Midgard was strange. I could not tell you in words what it was compared to my home. These people seemed shaken up by Loki's actions and they had every reason to.
The redhead, I learnt, was called Natasha Romanoff. She was a Russian spy and very strong, a true woman. Next to her was a large man, looked like a soldier and he had muscles. His name was Steve Rogers. He was an experiment which went right, then he was frozen near the tesseract in ice for 70 years. Behind Natasha was the smart and mean man, he was Bruce Banner. He tried to recreate Steve Rogers experiment by using gamma radiation which is some substance I do not know the definition of. He was also the man who insulted my brother.
"We think he's being controlled by the sceptre," Steve said, "we don't know how, or why. That's why we need you."
"Why would I know?" I scoffed.
"You have been in contact with energy sources like this a few times. Loki is also your brother, you know him more than we do. Is there something that can break the spell. Someone special?" Bruce spoke.
"There is this one lady. Her name is Raven, she was his soulmate and I took him away from her after our first meeting," I started, pointing at Bruce, "and she then proceeded to torture me with fire and wind. She controls the elements. She calls herself an enchantress but I prefer the use of elementalist."
"You guys have met before?" Steve and Natasha both said at the same time.
"Well, it was very brief and quite a while ago," I muttered.
I remembered that day very clearly. Raven was out of control. I remembered thinking that she was becoming stronger and more powerful than me. Well I had only just found out the other day that she had evolved. Her powers had enhanced.
"And I had to quickly escape because she beat my ass," Bruce winced, remembering that day also.
"I think I might have also met her, by your description. Only difference was that I actually won against her," Steve said. He almost sounded guilty at the thought.
"Wait, am I the only one who hasn't met this infamous lady Raven?" Natasha questioned.
"I haven't either Ms Romanoff," Tony walked in, "hello again Shakespeare."
"Good day to you," I waved.
Tony Stark. A genius, playboy, billionaire, philanthropist who I had met not so long ago. He seemed very full of himself and cocky. But he's smart and quite entertaining.
"I could signal Raven with Mjolnir, I just need the right materials," I said.
"What do you need?" Steve asked.
"Fire, water, earth and wind," I said.
"Wait, you're going to use the elements to signal an elementalist? That's amazing. But how would that work. And more to the point how will you send it?" Bruce said, intrigued.
"Well its rather simple for me actually, but not for Raven because she doesn't have access to the lightning. I need to take all of the elements and use the wind to encase the fire, earth and water and use my lightning to throw it into the air. I then shout out the name I want it to go to and she has a lightning mark which glows, which tells her I'm coming or I need her."
The men and Natasha all stared in shock as I explained. I had forgot about their obliviousness towards this type of magic. They were mortals, they had never experienced this sort of power and mightiness.
"Best we get started," Natasha stood up, she was obviously in charge. So she should be, women are far more superior.
Raven's POV
I sat in the library by myself reading. Now that I was back in Asgard I was such a fucking nerd, reading. These books reminded me of Loki, they didn't make me sad anymore, they kind of made me feel like he was with me.
It became dinnertime and I put the 4 books I finished reading, back in their original shelf and made my way through the halls of the castle.
The doors were open and as I walked in, the bustling of the crowd stopped and all heads turned to look at me. I was completely and utterly the baddest most main characterist bitch of the 9 realms.
"Well come on people, let's eat," I cheered and the crowd followed along. It was like I was their queen. Queen Raven.
I sat next to Sif she barely spoke to me because she was still annoyed about her losing against me. The others did speak to me.
"You going to finish that Raven?" Volstagg asked.
"Nah you can have it Santa," I chuckled at my own joke.
None of them really got my references but it still made me laugh because sometimes they were a bit mean. My favourite would always be Fix-It-Felix.
I sat drinking for a bit until Sif mentioned there was a glow behind my ear. Thor. I quickly excused myself from the table because that's what you had to do in Asgard and rushed over to Heimdall. I got to him quite speedily considering I had became extremely lazy.
"Lady Raven, to what do I owe this pleasure," he greeted me.
"Can you take me to Thor please," I said between coughs.
He nodded as he turned his sword in the spinny thing and I entered the Bifrost.
