Dean awoke to a cold feeling. He blinked and sat up, the sun was already bright and full in the sky. He saw that the place where Cas had been last night was empty. He remembered their argument and Cas's wing cuddling him and how close he was to his face. He felt himself get flushed and stood to walk into the kitchen shoving last night out of his mind. "Look who's awake. How was the rest, Sleeping Beauty?" Bobby chuckled when he saw Dean come in.

"Cram it up your ass early bird." He grumbled. Both Sam and Bobby laughed lightly at Dean's morning attitude. They sat down and Sam gave Dean a plate of eggs. They were mostly silent during breakfast except for when Sam finished he asked,

"Hey Bobby did you see Cas this morning?" Dean stopped chewing his eggs for a second to hear the response.

"Yep, saw him early this morning, said he was going for a fly." Sam nodded and before he could stop himself Dean said,

"You let him go by himself?" Sam stopped cleaning plates and turned to look at him and Bobby glanced up from his breakfast to give him a look.

"Dean. He's an angel. He can handle it." Sam said like he was stupid.

"I'm not stupid Sam, but the devil, actual Satan is walking the Earth and I don't like the idea-"

"Of someone hurting your angel boy toy while he's out and about." Dean turned to see Crowley leaning against the doorframe. Dean gave him a glare that could kill. Crowley held up his hands, "Relax, I come in peace." Dean gave Sam a look and Sam shrugged, eyes wide.

"Okay you know what? I don't care what you're doing here, but I'm not going to be in the same house with you on purpose." Dean said authoritatively, pointing to Crowley. "I'm going to find Cas and tear him a new one for doing the exact opposite of what I said and you two can deal with the demon." Dean stormed out of the kitchen and upstairs to throw on some clothes. Once he'd finished (a matter of seconds later), he grabbed his keys and his phone and ran out the door without a second look. Sam and Bobby turned back to Crowley when they heard the door slam and Sam launched from his spot and gave Crowley a hard shove towards the front entrance.

"That was weak even for you Moose." Crowley stood and prepared to hit back. He ran right into an invisible wall holding him back. Sam pointed upward and Crowley looked to find a devils trapped looking above him. "Bullocks."

"Dammit Cas! Pick up the phone!" Dean yelled into his phone. Dean got an idea just then and pulled the car over. Cas, he thought, wherever you are I'm worried, and I think I really need to talk to you. Just call me or come find me. Dean opened his eyes and looked around. When Cas didn't show immediately he put his head in hands and sighed.

"Hello Dean." Castiel managed seemingly a bit out of breath. Dean looked up to see Cas sitting next to him with windswept hair, breathing heavily. "Is something wrong?" He asked with a concerned look crossing his face.

"Well not anymore." He replied, smiling a relieved smile. Castiel smiled back and then tilted his head.

"What did you want to talk to me about Dean?" Dean nodded and looked away.

"Look man, you were right I should've let you go through my head, it's not that I don't trust you. I just get freaked out about people knowing my secrets." Castiel nodded at this explanation.

"I understand Dean. I don't have to look through your mind." He said putting a hand on Dean's shoulder like Dean had done to him many times. Dean looked at him with his messed up hair and bright eyes and shimmering wings and shook his head.

"No, I want you to do it. In case anything's wrong. Just do me a favor and don't go poking around too much?" Castiel raised his hand to Dean's forehead and just before he blacked out he heard,

"Of course Dean."
