The next morning, Keshaun had collected his coaches for her morning run from Southampton II to Sodor, with Eric, and Christian, running their branch-line, Kate doing her express service from Southampton II to Traintown. William and Henrietta helping out with the last perorations with the Flockton branch-line and the freight trains. For Lenry, with his saftey value still broken, Gadget had to take him to the Locomotive Fix-it works to have it replaced.

Gadget is a London and South Western Railway (LSWR) T9 class, with LSWR green along with black and white stripes around the boiler, cab and tender along with red front and back buffer beam while her sides are black. She carries the number 67 on her tender.

The London and South Western Railway T9 class was a class of 66 4-4-0 steam locomotive designed for express passenger work by Dugald Drummond and introduced to services on the LSWR in 1899. One example has been preserved after British Railways ownership. They were given the nickname of "Greyhounds" due to their speed, up to 85 miles per hour (137 km/h), and reliability.

Gadget is a recently-built tender engine for the Locomotive works, for she was a project to bring back more of the T9 class, and time show off the Class T9's. Unlike her class, Gadget likes to repair/upgrade/restore other engines, though she can get a little carried away with her ideas.

With the engines now on their way to work, Ms Avery had driven up to the sheds. She walked over to Elena's berth, as she entered she walked up to the Stirling Single engine, her paint shining in the sun a little.

"Good morning, Elena." Ms Avery spoke to the red tender engine. "Good morning Ms Avery" Elena replied. "Today I want you to know that you have been working hard ever since you came to this railway, so I decided for you to take the first train to Flockton with the new coaches that are coming." Ms Avery said. "Thank you, Ms Avery." Elena replied. "I would love to take a break from the hard work I've been doing."

A moment later, the sound of a diesel horn echoed out. Elena and Ms Avery went outside the sheds to see a BR Class 08 diesel pulling fourteen coaches, nine of them being the old coaches that were used on the North Western Railway on local passenger trains due to their age. The old coaches were built on the Great Northern Railway (GNR) and they look similar to the 'Metropolitan' carriage, no.903.
