The Godson Railway has been running along a good pace. With shipments, passengers, as well as mixed varieties of goods. With Eric, Christian, Keshaun, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, Mia, and Stephanie back alongside the team, things seemed to get back to normality.
After a few weeks, Hammond, May and Clarkson were sad as they were going back to their railway. But to their surprise, Mr Croft informed the three engines that he and Ms Avery have just purchased them off their old owner. Hammond, May and Clarkson were rather shocked by this. They thanked the managers and soon enough, they were happy to work on the mainline or shunting yards, and they helped out to their abilities.

One day Christian, May, Andrea and Emma were taking a passenger train to Croft station, but as they made their way down the line they saw a strange engine in the siding. They decided to talk with this unknown engine. The engine was an London and North Eastern Railway Class P2, with the numbers '2008' on his buffer beam and cab, and on the nameplate it read 'David Lloyd George'.

The London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class P2 was a class of 2-8-2 steam locomotives designed by Sir Nigel Gresley for working heavy express trains over the harsh Edinburgh to Aberdeen Line. As they were to serve on Scottish expresses, they were given famous names from Scottish lore. Six locomotives of the class were built; introduced between 1934 and 1936. In 1936, the Class P2 were given streamlined fronts, similar to that of the Class A4. Between 1943 and 1944 the class were rebuilt under Gresley's successor Edward Thompson into the LNER Thompson Class A2/2 4-6-2 type.
"Hello there. You three must be Christian, Andrea, May and Emma." The engine greeted. The two engines and the two girls looked in shock.
"Wait, how did you know our names?" Christian asked.
"Henrietta told me about you." The engine said. "The name's David Lloyd George or David as most of the other engines call me." The engine introduced himself.
"Um David, if you don't mind me asking." Emma started. "Why do you have the number 2008 on you instead of 2007 since you were built before Prince of Wales?" She asked.
"Well, I'm another class of the P2s." David answered. "Prince of Wales knows quite a bit about me as well from what I heard."
"I see that you two are siblings." Andrea said. "Basically we are." David responded.
"Well David, it was nice meeting you but we need to get a move on with our passenger train." May said, and with that the four puffed away.
LNER Class P2 2007 Prince of Wales is a 2-8-2 steam locomotive under construction at Darlington Locomotive Works and managed by the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust. It will be the seventh Class P2 locomotive and named after the Prince of Wales.
