The next morning on Sodor, it was a bright and sunny day. The engines were well-rested and ready for the day ahead of them. Eric, Christian, Keshaun, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, Mia, and Stephanie felt relaxed as well, and they were more than ready for today. Plus, they'd like to see more of Sodor if they could.

"So, what's for the morning?" Eric asked.

"Well, since I'm back in service, I'll be taking the Wild Nor' Wester. I again thank you for yesterday." Gordon said to Eric, Christian, Keshaun, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, Mia, and Stephanie.

"No problem with that." Christian replied. "I guess me and my friends are going to be on stand-by in case."

"Stand-by in case?" James echoed. "I'm going to guess it's something you guys would say when you guys don't have much to do, right? He asked.

"That's correct." Olivia classified to James.

"That's interesting." Edward noted. "Well I'm sure that Sir Topham will have something for you lot to do."

Sure enough, Sir Topham did have some work for Eric, Christian, Keshaun, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, Mia, and Stephanie: They were to help out with some shunting, small passenger and goods run. They didn't mind this, for it did give them time to travel small distances, instead of going for miles.

Later on that day, Christian, Andrea and Emma were making their way downs towards what was called The 'Little Western' also known as the Arlesburgh Branch Line, coastal branch line operating between Tidmouth and Arlesburgh West. They had to admit, the line was very unique, especially with a view of the sea. Emma was impressed by the sight of the sea, and there was a lot to take a lot at, she started to take some pictures if she wanted to draw and paint the scenery.

"Wait a minute, Christian is that you?" A voice spoke out.

Christian, Andrea and Emma looked over to see a GWR (Great Western Railway)5700 Class 0-6-0 pannier tank engine nearby pulling three Great Western Slip Coaches. The engine was painted in the North Western Railway unlined apple green livery. The initials "GWR" are painted on the sides of his pannier tanks in yellow and red. He has a green safety valve cover and black wheels. His number 8 is painted on the sides of his cab in yellow, upon a black background with a yellow border.

"Well if it isn't the one and only Duck aka Montague." Christian replied back to the GWR 5700 Class locomotive. "Long time, no see."

"Hang on, you two know each other?" Andrea asked.

"Yeah. We used to work together on the Great Western Railway in Paddington as station pilots. Duck, at the time was No. 5741 and I was No. 1344." Christian clarified to Andrea.

"But, why do you call him duck?" Emma asked.

"It's because of my supposed waddling, but I don't mind it." Duck answered. "Who are you two?" He asked.
