I talked to Rebekah a little and I liked her. To think she was friends with my mom was crazy. I don’t know but I instantly liked her. She hates the Petrova bloodline, I told her that I was related to them, Tatia being my mother’s cousin and she hated them more.

We got to the school in no time, I could here whispers from outside and most of the lights were off. I waited in the gym whilst Rebekah and Klaus went to kidnap people.

As it turns out, they didn’t kidnap people, they just brought Elena and the gang of annoyingly optimistic friends.

“I assume you’ve met Amber, my daughter.” Klaus said with a smirk on his face, there were a few gasps around the room, the whole gang except from Elena who I assume knew because of Damon who knew because he pays attention.

Tyler, the wolf boy, was dead on the floor. Rebekah took him out, Bonnie was in charge of finding a way to save him, I already have suspicions of why it didn’t work. It was probably my instincts; I am in fact related to the original witch.

Klaus left me to baby sit Stefan and Elena in the gym whilst he took care of the witch or something.

There was a very thick uncomfortable silence for twenty minutes; no one really said anything until the timer reached 3 minutes. Elena started whining about he won’t hurt her because she loves her. I snorted and brought their attention back to me. I had been sitting on the bleachers playing temple run on my phone.

“Stefan may love you, but he has terrible self control, so when someone compels him to feed, trust me, he won’t want to stop.” I stood up and walked down towards them, there was less than a minute until Stefan ripped open her neck.

I cared about Stefan, if he killed her he’d never be himself ever again. I rushed to them, facing Stefan. “Elena, I’m going to need you to run.”

“He’ll break my spine.” She stuttered

“Now!” she ran, Stefan tried to follow but I lifted my hand and he flew back. “You listen to me vary carefully, Stefan, you owe me so much for this and everything else I’ve done for this doppelganger.” I flicked my fingers once again he flew back, only this time harder. I sped down the hallway following Elena’s scent.

When I got to her I grabbed her. I dragged her towards where my instincts told me Klaus was. I had just gotten there when there was a loud groan.

“Great! Just in time.” I mumbled as I walked into the classroom.

“Amber lovely to see you here, why did you bring the doppelganger along? It was Stefan’s thing to deal with.” Klaus smirked and I rolled my eyes.

“I, dear father, am here to solve all of your problems because, apparently, I am the only one smart enough to realize that the original witch lied about these hybrids.” I yanked Elena towards Tyler by her arm and bit into her wrist.

She winced, I was very thankful that she shut up and hadn’t said a word in the past three minutes. I forced her blood down Tyler’s throat. After he had some I think it was starting to work.

“Brilliant, sweetheart, how did you know that would work?” The original hybrid asked.

“Well, your mother hated the idea of hybrids. She wanted the doppelganger dead, those two things must’ve been related.” He stared at me for a moment in complete awe. Rebekah was speechless, leaning on one of the tables. Elena looked like she was about to shit herself, I kept my sight on her for a few seconds, “Plus, it’s Elena, it will always be Elena.” I said that last part mockingly before walking swiftly out the door, only to bump into a warm, strong chest. I looked up to see Stefan, a pained frown on his face. I pushed past him and walked out.
