PROLOGUE

"How can you be so full of yourself, Ms. Sanchez?" Mr. Froilan's voice echoed the whole conference room.

Some Engineers were looking at me with dismayed in their eyes, they even tilted their head as a sign of disappointment. I only played my ballpen silently.

"Tss, what did you expect Sir Legazpi, she's an incompetent Engineer, and oh, a second passer!" I heard a drastic laugh of Serene.

Shit! Natitimpi parin ako! Bwesit! What's wrong being a second passer in Engineer's Board? Damn it!

"Stop it, Ms. Coleta." A cold baritone voice filled the whole conference room.

I just rolled my eyes secretly, trying to hold the tears that's anytime it will fall.

"The Condominium you just trying to build, Ms. Sanchez is all a mess! It cost billions and millions of money! Now, our partnership construction company is doubting us! Look what you've done?"

Shit this bullshits!

"Why all the blame is on me?!" I raised my voice, eyeing some of my team Engineers who were also part of this project. Damn it!

"I didn't know that the purchased materials are all substandard! The hell, I only lead the construction, not the budgetary plan for the project!" My heart is pumping so hard. I even catch my breath trying to be calm with all these Engineers who belittled me!

"Shut up, Ms. Sanchez, you think you're an Engineer? You couldn't recognize the materials between substandard and high quality? Oh, truly an incompetent Engineer! Look at the damages? You even got the 10 construction workers hospitalized! Two of them were in critical condition!"
